That's got to be worth a punt?! I wonder what odds you'd get for predicting the times of the goals (as well as the correct score)TheHandOfDog wrote:We have won 3 important games in a row but I do see us taking a beating against these, not sure why, just got that West Ham feeling.
Leicester 3-1 West Ham
Okazaki(23), Antonio(37)
Mahrez(51)
Ulloa(87)

They are the most fickle bunch. Sure, most fans can have short memories and demand success, but to call for your manager's head months after winning the league from 5000-1?? Idiots. Couldn't believe what I was reading.Blow Bubbles wrote:Wow... just had a read... they are REALLY negative... Shouldn't they be still tipsy on last season and just saying '**** it'?!

None of them seem too keen on Slimani, looks like we dodged that bullet for once, well we got Zaza but at least that was trybefore you buy.

Loving the guy on the first page who says he would go back to a 3-5-2 formation with wing backs...and then posts a 3-4-3 line up!since86 wrote:Leicester's fan forum makes for interesting reading:

They don't fancy their chances, and fear AC.
Confident of a healthy 0-2, 1-3 win in this fixture.

Re: Leicester City vs West Ham United: Match Thread
I think a lot of how this game goes will ride on whether Anthony Taylor plays by the letter of the law. With AC, Antonio, Reid, Oggy, Kouyate all up for corners / set pieces there will be a lot of aerial threat. We've seen Huth and Morgan have really struggled to adapt to the "no contact" directive in the penalty box and I think they will struggle to handle our physical presence.
Hope we go 4-2-3-1 and have a go... With no Vardy to stretch the centre backs in behind I would feel comfortable with 4 at the back against Ulloa / Okazaki + Slimani. Definitely think it will be a tougher game than they gave Everton... they rested Mahrez + Drinkwater and Huth and Fuchs were suspended so no doubt they will come back into the starting line up and you imagine will offer a bit more than their replacements...

Leicester are shortening all the time with the bookmakers. It's all worked out throught expected goals models now. Even though we've won the last 3 matches, our goal expectation hasn't been that great in any of the matches while Leicester have been creating good chances despite losing. As a result their price is being backed in as strange as it would seem to naked eye.

Just read some of the Leicester's forum.
Do you think this forum would be any different if we had done what they had done?
Football fans are a fickle bunch.
COYI though. Hopefully a good and confident win against them whilst their confidence is low. It happens to us often enough. As someone said earlier, we need an attack minded side to nail this. Get their slow CB's running. Someone like Sahko (I know he is injured) and AC up front would have been ideal. Get Ayew up there with AC to cause problems.

He's a very good striker and has scored 5 for them already this season.

Hopefully a positive result to keep the gap between us and the "relegation zone" sufficient so that after the Manchester United game at home we have a fit enough squad to play our strongest 11 for the Cup game which in my view is essential for us.

Gotta play the strongest team and try and get the 3 points. I'd rather we went all our for 3 points in this one & as a result have to rest a few players for the Man U game if I'm honest.

9th, Soton and West Brom playing eachother. but still a massive leap from a few weeks back... interesting how close it all is this season. we need to keep up the momentum as a few losses means you are back down there, but a few wins could have us back where we were last year. 7th to 20th is a free for all really.Puff Daddy wrote:Could move up to eighth with a win
with regards to the game, I would take a draw. Leicester are a decent side at home really, but I'd like to think we can frustrate them enough. 1-0 would be fantastic.

Re: Leicester City vs West Ham United: Match Thread
Leicester had three special players last year - one is at Chelsea, one is banned and that leaves Mahrez who may well be in the advanced stages of being tapped up.wizzo_66 wrote:Not confident at all, we're West Ham after all.
I was against Swansea as well.
It's got West Ham win but no clean sheet written all over it providing Slav gets the selection right. He has enough to adjust even if he gets it wrong to start with.

No doubt I'm going to be giving it the kiss of death by going
I think we should win though... 3 wins on the bounce and draws away at Liverpool, Man Utd and should have got something against the Spurs... 3 good teams
COYI

Supposedly the counting house near the ground although I've never been in there before. Can anyone confirm that it's 'away friendly'?AndrewJB wrote:Who's drinking where?
