Rooney, Blind, Bailly, Shaw, Schneiderlein, Schweinstseiger miss out for them.

Need to shackle Zlatan and need to climb in to Pogba and put him off his game.
Where to play Kouyate? Play him in midfield to pay attention to Pogba or at the back in place of Ogbonna?

I know it's a bit of a football manager move but is it maybe worth trying out Cresswell on the left wing for a game to see if that helps with our exposure and lack of balance on the left?

Won't be able to get away with the variety of f---ups we make at home against this mob therefore another home defeat beckons.
Re: West Ham United V Manchester United: Match Thread
Hard to see us keeping out their attacking players. They have so many scorers in their squad, unlike us. Never mind, Demba Ba will be banging them in for us come April/May.Ferret wrote:This will be another drubbing for us i'm afraid.

I reckon we'll lose 1-3. Does that count as a drubbing?!Ferret wrote:This will be another drubbing for us i'm afraid.

Arsenal a few weeks back was one of the very few <<big>> games we haven't competed in over the past 18 months, the only other really being the WHL washout last season. This is one for our game-raising tarts.
Antonio up front would be nice - with or without a partner.

If we restrict them to three I'll be amazed. They attack in numbers and with tremendous pace. We'll be on the receiving end of a lesson on the difference between mid-table wannabees and CL contenders.
Re: West Ham United V Manchester United: Match Thread
Yep, not looking forward to this one. I think a quality, passionate performance is, arguably, more important than the result.
I hope Bilic starts with the team that finished the Leicester game. I hope Payet steps up and I hope that Randolph has the game of his life.
Then we might sneak a draw!

Expecting a s**t load of day trippers and tourists, Man Utd shirts in the home end and the usual overload of little manc scroats in black hoodies roaming around looking to pick off small groups.
Could just bring out the best in us all and lead to a Chelsea style night with a pretty decent atmosphere.

I fancy us....think everyone will be up for it off the park and that will come across to the players.
About time they stood up and be counted at home....

I agree, I can see us getting something out of this if we've got Antonio playing as a striker just like we did against Chelsea in the cup.Aceface wrote:Arsenal a few weeks back was one of the very few <<big>> games we haven't competed in over the past 18 months, the only other really being the WHL washout last season.
