I'd love us to add to Guardiola's struggles, I bet he never envisaged this, the bloke inherited a squad of top level internationals, was given a decent amount of coin to spend and yet he's having to play attacking full backs at centre half the second one gets injured

Not going to this one. No real reason except not a fan of football on Friday night, plus going to watch Plymouth at Anfield on Sunday
I expect Man City will play reserves and youth, we will give some squad players a game, it will be similar to Chelsea cup game but end in a draw

I will be expecting our lads to be up for this...whatever team they put out, they will give us a game, but I think English top flight football has caught Guardiola out...Slav will own him in this one too.
This game could be anything...4-3 and a historic win..

If we carry the injustice over to this game we could beat them.

Always enjoy a cup run. Especially during a season where it looks like we'll be knocking around mid-table without the drama of fighting for European spots / avoiding relegation.
Strongest team we can put out, and have a real go!!

Ref for Fridays game is Michael Oliver. His season so far:

Oliver is by far one of the better refs in the prem... bar his little blunder last night mind you

First game for me and the heavily pregnant Mrs at the new premises, pretty optimistic that we take the cup serious and put out a decent starting 11.

Please Slav no Noble we need to be athletic in midfield against this lot, we can't do with him dithering about , pirouetting and passing anyway but forward put Fernandes in please

Great turnout that given all the current issues with our new ground.Wembley1966 wrote:Sold out apart from hospitality.

Superb stuff .No matter that kids are getting in for a quid , it's exactly right for this fixture .Wembley1966 wrote:Sold out apart from hospitality.
Who knows, if we stick a decent team out and play well, some of them may come back .

More humble pie for those who said it would be half empty after the draw was made...

A lot of people have been getting confident about our chances in the last two games.
2-0 Citeh.
Got seven tickets to make a family evening out so a win will be an unexpected bonus.

In all honesty I can't say I'm happy with FNF , I'm lucky though to be able to organise my work so as to be coming through Stratford from Leeds at around 6pm .Romford wrote:More humble pie for those who said it would be half empty after the draw was made...

Give Antonio and Noble a nice rest before Palace. Give Fletcher a good 30 mins despite how the result is going. Plus if we play Carroll I always think we should play 2 wingers as there is not enough quality deliveries otherwise as it's not Antonio's strength.

I'll be at this game sort of 11 hours earlier - at the Melbourne City (owned by Man City owners) v West Sydney in Melbourne.
Apparently Melbourne City are a carbon copy of Man City.
I'll be cheering for Sydney - the team from the capital city!
