Apparently Melbourne City are a carbon copy of Man City.
I'll be cheering for Sydney - the team from the capital city!

If the FA decide that we can keep 11 players on the pitch for the 90 mins in this game, then I think we've got a good chance.
2-0 to us, with Feghouli having the game of his West Ham career (so far).

City are fantastic going forwards but i think they are majorly suspect at the back. We can get something out of this providing we keep it tight first 20 minutes or so. If they play Stones i'd play Antonio up top again. He'll run him ragged.

Got tickets for this somewhere up in the clouds near the City fans, I am fully expecting it to be rubbish but it was £15 a ticket which in comparison to the £40 they want for the Palace game the weekend after (or United £50 the week before) it was a no brainer.

Me too mate. The only reason I'm going is because of the price (and I can get hammered with it being a Friday night!) If this ends up being the last cheap game at home this season then it'll probably be the last game I go to this season. Possibly ever.Knighter10WHU wrote:Got tickets for this somewhere up in the clouds near the City fans, I am fully expecting it to be rubbish but it was £15 a ticket which in comparison to the £40 they want for the Palace game the weekend after (or United £50 the week before) it was a no brainer.

Just got round to watching the highlights from the Man U game, for their first goal, I understand why Obiang went over to cover but I kept rewinding the goal and Antonio, Kouyate and Payet all failed to track back with anything near enough urgency. That unwillingness to work harder when you're a man down is what is costing us. We more than matched Man U, but our decision-making, spacial awareness and effort has been poor and we're not, nor is any other team, too talented to overcome a lack of awareness or effort. This needs fixing in the video room and in training.

Were do we draw the line with tracking back though? i mean with Antonio being the striker on the day, wouldnt we need him a bit further up the pitch so we could counter ... from dimi picking up the ball and spraying it to him?Iron By Fatherhood wrote:Just got round to watching the highlights from the Man U game, for their first goal, I understand why Obiang went over to cover but I kept rewinding the goal and Antonio, Kouyate and Payet all failed to track back with anything near enough urgency. £17 for me and my two kids it was a no brainer for me, up in the gods a bit but with a 6 and 8 year old in tow I thought that was perhaps for the best.
It'll be my 6 year old son's first game, I hope its one to remember for the right reasons.

Just 2 of my group of 10 are going (I'm giving it a swerve and don't even have an inkling of guilt anymore).

I'd like to see Fletcher and Fernandes get a run out.

I only just remembered that we've been sent tickets and season tickets haven't been activated.
Good point! Still find that ridiculous... why couldn't they be added to our cards like EFL cup...

I hope not. Need carroll to bully their crap defence. He will smash stones to pieces.
He only played last 20 against manure so has had time to recover and next game is next saturday. Strongest team
Respect the FA Cup - last chance of a cup run this season. Beat these money laden moaners and a nice draw and we are are our way.
