Massive opportunity this.
Bournemouth in 11th level on points. Burnley and Stoke in 10th and 9th playing Arsenal and Man United. A win could see us finish the weekend in 9th

Much like the Championship game where we won 2-0. Running the gauntlet getting back to the train station that night :lol:NorthBankAlliance wrote:Think the whole of Boro is out for this one!

If we can put in a performance like the last 20 minutes or so against Palace then I fancy we can nick this. Boro don't conceded too many though so we'll need to be well up for it.
I'd take a point now though.

Stick together and stay safe, sadly the absolute shambles of a security operation at the home game seriously wound their lot up and as other have said, I am sure there will be a few of them looking to pick people off.Chicken Run Supreme wrote:Sold out 3,000 allocation for this which is excellent. Hope those going have a great away day, got a good feeling about this.

I have been to Boro on numerous occasions since I moved up north in 1996. It always seemed to be a bit of a bogey ground for us until Scotty Parker got that great winner back in 2007. Since then we haven’t met them that much but turned them over 2 -0 the last time I went there when we were in the Championship and I don’t see no reason why we can’t repeat that result on Saturday. For information for those travelling the away support has been moved mainly to the side next to where we used to be located behind the goal.

Re: Middlesbrough V West Ham United: Match Thread
Middlesborough are a much better organised and defensively sound team than Palace.
They are also very physical as we saw when we played them at home.
If we start off slowly we will be in trouble. We need to get on the front foot early.
They have a big bruising back four so Carroll won't get much joy in we just look to lump it to him, or try and sling a load of crosses in. Need to get Lanzini involved and try and play on the deck

West Ham only took the smaller allocation of 2k...and when they went so quick they asked for more and got a blank from Boro as the tickets had already been sold to the natives.
Defo said 3k allocation on the official site (I don't know about programmes) and i'm sure the club promised to take full allocations in a statement.
Same old WHUFC

Explains why the wilsons went so quickly....you'd have hoped that WHUFC would have more knowledge of their fans.Porkeyes wrote:I was going to say, 3000 to Boro is more than the norm aint it?

No wonder it has been so hard to get tickets Romford, I know quite of few people who haven't been able to get tickets.

Don't we have close to 1000 fans on the away scheme also? Leaving very little to go around.Romford wrote:West Ham only took the smaller allocation of 2k...
