Another thread I know, but making the AfCON every 2 years is pretty stressful for some of these guys as pointed out by h1975 above. Let's get right behind Cheikh whenever he does turn up

Imho, City have added real world class players, namely Leroy Mane and Gabriel Jesus to their already mega buck squad. It's going to take a stupendous team effort by every one of our players to get something from this game.

Suspect Kouyate will be rested however with the 2 new signings and Chiek back look how our subs bench will be for the next few games having players that can come on and make a difference opens up new tactical possibilities for Super Slav

City are beatable but we need to press them hard and take our chances as the spuds did.
However if you look at their squad to ours we have no chance against the rich kids.

we do have pride and a score to settle. I expect a lively match on and off the pitch.

randy
byram reid fonte cresswell
snodgrass noble obiang lanzini
antonio carroll

2-0 hammers hope !!!

is the capacityincreased to 60k for this as brady was saying ?

The team spirit and new resilience shown in the last 2 games by this mighty hammers team is bolstered by the New signings and the return of wile E. We battle, match them and ride our luck, going 2-1 up on 75mins as fegouli breaks, beats the offside and cooly slots away with a clinical finish, round it off with a pen on 90+1 as Kevin Friend of the hammers points to the spot In a bid to redress all the sh*t we have taken for the last 2 years from Dean, Moss, Clatterbrain and all those c*nts

Kessie knocked out of Afcon on Tue playing today for Atalanta. Ghezzal knocked out on Mon played yesterday for Lyon, Guediora knocked out on Mon starting today for Watford. Quite a few other less known names also played yesterday after being knocked out of Afcon. On basis of that I think a strong chance of Kouyate being at least on the bench.

Snodgrass off the bench in the second half.
Hasn't played or hasn't trained? , I get why he has not played but it makes no sense that he hasn't trained

Will 100% be the team barring injuries and rightly so.

The only change I would make is the direct shift of the injured Ogbonna for Fonte. Snodgrass from the bench, hopefully joined by Kouyate and Ayew.

I'm a bit concerned about this Jesus fella, he may yet resurrect City's season, and we must watch him carefully on crosses.

Randolph
Byram
Cresswell
Fonte
Reid
Kouyate
Obiang
Antonio
Snodgrass
Lanzini
Carroll

Noble
Hogan
Feghouli
Collins
Adrian
Quina

Our strongest side this season !! Although got a feeling Antonio will be right back with Byram making way for Noble to hold the midfield still

Although we are going to be short of possession we have to leave someone up near Carroll otherwise we will never threaten them. Carroll just ain't suited to a counter attacking game.

Best to have Carroll tracking back and leave Lanzini or Antonio as the breakaway threat.

Anyway, far too much positivity here. 0-2
