According to them, they don't have a single decent midfielder, Forster is garbage and their going down. Talk about knee jerk.ryanrc wrote:Crept onto Saintsweb to sneak a peak at the OV and they're pretty much unanimous in wanting Reed out, which I find bizarre.

Just got in slightly drunk, tired and still buzzing, what a day
Absolute superb from Waterloo to Yates in Southampton, brilliant atmosphere and fans, cracking stuff, part of the reason it's great to to be a hammer, could barely see anything in the stadium due to the sun
On a side note, brilliant to come from one nil down to win, Southampton look weak, they really lacked a striker, Gabbidini first goal was an absolute blaster
Dur dur dur michail antonito
Jose Fonte baby Jose Fonte ooooooo

Half and half in my opinion. We do have some proper lemons. But they're really loyal lemons who always seem to create a good atmosphere.marcus6 wrote:Great performance, great result.
Quick question from someone who doesn't do as many aways as he used to..
Are our 'youths' actually decent lads, or a load of little shits with 90s boy band curtains, who shoplift and give mob handed racism under the guise of banter? Trying to work out who's on my train home.

Keep rewatching Carroll's goal. Great slide rule pass, great movement, perfect finish. Not as flashy as the scissor kick but a thing of beauty nonetheless
One of my favourite West Ham goals this season I think

What a great day, always good to get a reminder of what makes following this club so great. Only downside today was having to queue for half an hour to get into Yates.

Great away day.
Obiang, Carroll, Snodgrass, Reid, and Kouyate all shone.
Feghouli I think has been harshly criticised reading this thread. Whilst he was hit and miss attacking - biggest issue was his positioning - he made a very good contribution defensively today.
Cresswell, better than Wednesday (not hard) but still looked shakey, hopefully he'll be back to his best soon.
We need a song for Snodgrass and soon. He was immense and immediately gets us, he will feed off the crowd I'm sure,
Jose Fonte Baby Jose Fonte Ooooo
Super Slav

Re: Southampton vs West Ham Utd: match thread
Just back from a great day out on the South Coast .The "feeling" at away games now is really in stark contrast to home matches .The comparison is brutal .
Fantastic support for Slav from the off , oh how the Board must be cacking themselves , scared in case they pull the trigger , but just as scared to back him , but there's little doubt who the support are behind .
We saw some much improved performances today , not least from Nobes who gave a confident display but even he was outshone by Obiang and dare I say it, Snodgrass's workrate .How pleasing it was to see his running .
A good, solid team performance , and a win at St Marys .We were miles better than them .

Just been reading that Fonte reckons we can win many games, I hope he's right. He's definitely sounding right and he has a look of class about him. I was impressed by both him and Snodgrass, reckon we made a couple of good buys.

Great day. No kids allowed in Yates so ended up in 'The Neighbourhood' just across the road which was doing 2 for 1 pints. As if it could, the day just got better and better.

Great day. Great performance. Harry Bella looked so much more assured and in control, the Scottish Payet showed just what an astute signing he could be. But Pedro once more stood up and showed just what a player he is.
Away from home were a far different proposition. But it's hardly surprising eh Chinese Dave

Fab day out that was... got utterly ****-faced and since getting home a couple of hours ago have been struggling to stay awake for MOTD etc...but managed it.
Nice to see Romford getting on the train at Brockenhurst and filling the carriage full of life; you don't go missing in a crowd do you mate?!
First time I've seen us win 'live' in that ****-hole since 1993 (Chapman volley!).
Great day out, only my 2nd away game this season.
No individual performance for me, just a lot of graft all round. Totally chuffed for Obiang getting his goal though.
Crap trying to get a beer (well cider after it ran out) at HT though...
Great away support. And it was sunny!!!

Great away day, Slav got it spot on and it was noticeable we were closing down their players which was sadly lacking Weds.
First time we have won at St Mary's and I didn't get wet. Double whammy.

They had some leftie tree huggers with a stall opposite Yates giving out free food and hot drinks as well
