Apart from that nightmare of a game he had, I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as a lot make out and he's certainly not performed any worse than Cresswell this year. As someone said earlier, I'd also be tempted to play Kouyate right-back. I actually think he'd be pretty solid there.
Masuaku is injured mate

Club seems quite sketchy on it but think Bilic mentioned four weeks in his man city pre match presser

This game's a good yardstick to measure us with.

how about nordsvelt as DM as that is apparently his posiyion. Him and obiang.
snod in for feg nords in for noble

cant do much about the awful fullbacks as we have no cover

Time for adrian to return as one or two of recent goals perhaps randy could have done better.

Adrian
byram reid fonte cresswell
antonio Nords Lanzini obiang snodgrass
Carroll

4-2-3-1 formation

3-0 win to Southampton I reckon. Carroll to come off at halftime ****ed.

A couple of months with Callieri or some other Roger Johnson bobbling about up front

we all know AC will be injured soon just a case of when.

Against city we should of played a fast forward who could press such as sakho or even valencia .I know they were not available but we must change according to the teams we play.
Playing carroll every game is asking for it.He should be sub for some games and come on last 30 mins.
We have callereie who is rubbish and has one lucky deflected goal and flecther who has one goal and not ready for PL as back up !
Someone like shane long who runs and presses would have been ideal.
where are the tactics from billic ?
Southampton will be a hard test of us mentally and physically.
we are the most unfit team in the league and look knackered after 15 mins.

1-1 draw Carroll goal and off on a stretcher

------- Fonte - Kouyate - Reid ---------
Byram - Noble - Obiang - Cresswell
----------------- Lanzini ----------------------
------------ Carroll - Antonio --------------

Southampton play pretty quick guys up front, so I'd have Kouyate's energy in our back three to provide some sweeping cover behind Fonte and Reid. Byram and Cresswell pushing up to try and push Tadic and Redmond onto their heels - that would stifle their creativity.

We'll lose by two.

I was trying to pick a team with Snodgrass in but respect YorksHammer I agree whole heartedly with what you say

However that does also include the last 4 words

BILIC: "Injury-wise, we had a recover day on Thursday and we have nothing serious. Sam Byram has a hamstring but we hope he will be OK."

Good thing we signed a RB in January.

I know he's only played a small cameo but I've seen a lot of him for previous clubs, and I would say that Snodgrass has to start. I fully believe he's going to go on to be the most creative attacking player we have, and the hardest working attacking player we have. With that formation you have Carroll and Antonio up front, and a player behind who's yet to assist a goal this season. For quality balls into the box, you're going to be completely reliant on two out of form full-backs - one of which I've seen little evidence that he can actually cross the ball. If we're going to go for it with two strikers, we're better off with a 4-4-2

Going to try the Balmoral or the Winston tomorrow as they are both showing the football and its easier to get a drink apparently.

Don’t think Yates were letting in away fans after the game last season. There are however another couple of bars along from there that are worth a visit and were fairly hospitable.

I actually think we’ll win tomorrow. Made for carroll.

It doesn't matter where I go in that stadium there is always a hole in the roof directly above me. :?

I've never seen us win at St Marys and though my son has moved away having finished Uni he could really do with some bragging rights over the scummers.

Indeed, I seem to recall beer being thrown and the TV/projector ending up hanging off the wall.

I would put Snodgrass and Antonio on their preferred (wrong) sides. The extra time taken to switch back to their natural foot to cross will gibe Carroll a bit longer to get into the box.
