Great day out, great result, 9th in the table, but my day was shattered when Francis Benali was not on the team sheet, no wonder Soton are in trouble :D

Carroll's made of glass so there's no point giving him An opportunity to get injured when we're 3-1 up and in total control. We didn't strengthen there in the window and Slav knows we're re gonna need him with the other crap we've been left with.
Great win though

What an absolutely cracking day out! In all my years I've never seen 'crowd surfing' before!

Solid performance. We were well worth the win. Noble much better after Wednesday. Super Slav! :crest:

Funny game....goalkeepers had no proper saves to make (on either side) and as easy an away win i can remember.

Good to bump into a few old mates..

Big thanks to Ben Illingworth for sorting out a ticket issue for a terrace legend...great to have some help from the club

Tactically a great performance, a far cry from the home fixture, Southampton didn't really look like getting back into game and the way we closed it out was very reassuring.
Bilic or the team got it wrong against Man city but responded brilliantly, esp after going 1down. Loving the fact we can score goals again, great away support and awesome being in that number. Coyi

Great day out. As people have already said, there was a buzz about the day from the moment we got to Waterloo.

The music in Yates just fuelled the atmosphere, with the noise carrying into the ground. Kind of reminded me of Palace earlier in the season where the away end DJ created a party atmosphere.

Missed our second and just about caught our third, but a great day all round.

Too many drinks mean I remember very little of the actual football that was played.

Top marks to that lad in the Southampton end took the abuse/banter very well, for a bunch of fans sitting next to the away fans they didn't get involved much

I reckon there is some sore heads this morning judging by our training home, a bunch of lads just under the drinking age in Stone Island/Moncler gear, looking very boozed

One thing I must say is I thought we got behind every player, rather than chanting for Payet for 90 minutes, people supported the team and a few individuals rather than just one.

Also add been three games this season due to other commitments and won three.

Wow , Dry January ended with a bang ! , great day out from the Saints fans on our train right through the day , I know it don't take Einstein but the play list in Yates was superb , loved the Carlton Cole tribute even sang that whilst in the pisser ! , Obiang and Noble superb and Snodgrass boy does he have some energy , capped by bumping into to Palace fans on the train home they wanted to get out of our carriage in the end , great day if we could bottle that and take that into home games then it would be special , oh well back to the bowl next Saturday

On one negative point, we kept being attacked down the right hand side again yesterday. A better team, like City on Wednesday, would've probably scored a couple more. And then when Redmond came on all of their attacks went down there.

No cheap option this summer, we need some quality in that position. It really is a problem.

Feghouli did switch off a few times and didn't track their full backs runs. Not easy for any right back when you end up with 2 players to watch instead of one.

The two fellas that came down the steps and had a go at him for 'assisting' us in the banter didn't see the funny side though. The stewards had to tell them to calm down.

Great, come from behind win, and a top day out. What's not to like?

I think the stewards were telling big tits to pipe down and stop geeing us up and then the two lads came down to tell the stewards to leave it out as it was all done in a good sense of humour. That's the way I saw it anyway.

I was right by the partition between us and the home fans, when Carroll scored our first I almost got bundeled over by a surge of kids rushing over to goad the home fans. Ended up gashing my leg and am hobbling about today, well worth it though. :D

I do generally not like sitting near the oppo fans for this very reason though.

Great day btw.
