Christ we've got Carroll, Reid, Fonte, Kouyate and Antonio coming onto Snodgrass's inswinging corners. I know it's Pulis, but if we don't score from one of them I'd fine all 6 players in question ;-)

3-3. A messy game with a couple of red cards. Fun for the neutral. I think Pulis has quietly put together a rather decent team for once rather than just a defensive one.

The boss has arrived for his pre-match press conference ⚒

Bearing in mind we have a 2 week break after Saturday, I wonder if it might be worth leaving Carroll out on Saturday if it means having him (reasonably) fit for the rest of the season.

There no point paying someone 85K a week and then resting them.

This just shows how weak and shallow our squad is. Its not a fault of Carrol's , more the lack of investment last two seasons in Strikers.

They should just play him till he breaks.

Got to be cautious of those Baggies. They aren't a bad side at all. I fear if some are rested we might get embarrassed.

I highly doubt anyone will be rested (especially as we go into a fortnight without games).

Not playing someone because they are injured, or out of fear a minor injury might become serious one, is something completely different.

That being said, I think we'll be able to start our best 11 and that we'll win half comfortably :scarfer:

Is Ayew back yet? Him and Antonio up front if AC doesn't make it?

Not particularly looking forward to this one!

Can see it being a rather drab game if we let the Albion do what they do best, be organised. Need pace and get behind them, if fit, I would leave AC on the bench for this one. Even the form he is in, bring him on 2nd half if it's not working.

I dislike Pulis a lot......but he does get the best from his teams. Saying that, WBA are a decent side, and are certainly well organised, with a goal threat.

The club twitter feed has just put up a photograph of Kouyate in training.

God knows who plays left back if Cresswell and Masuaku are both out.

Fernandes can probably do that job on the day imo and either Kouyate or Nortveidt at RB. Not ideal but when needs must

We may struggle with this one,

I can see Bilic playing three CBs and wing backs of Fernandes and Antonio (If Aaron and Chek are injured). This formation has failed to work on multiple occasions at home and will continue to do so.

Well I say he will play Antonio at wing back, but if Carroll is injured then he will need to be up top. So f*** knows

This is what happens when you don't sign a ****ing right back and a genuine decent cover for Andy.

Roll on 40 points and let this season be over..... :asleep:

If all fit... I'd start with a diamond and ask Noble to work hard side to side to double up with the full backs when needed...

Byram Fonte Reid Cresswell
-------------- Noble
----- Obiang Kouyate
------------- Lanzini
------- Antonio Carroll

Then all being well I would go at it for a good 30min with...

Byram Fonte Reid Cresswell
------------ Obiang
------ Lanzini Kouyate
Antonio Carroll Snodgrass

Cresswell seems to be picking up more injuries this season than in his whole career so far. His replacement seems even more injury prone. Nordveidt still out too. Byram nursing his hamstring still. Where will Pulis target our defence I wonder?
