unlucky not to win. Atmosphere improving each week and the team are much better than early season.

Something to build on if the dildo twins spend in the summer

He was awful at Watford, I remember the game against Palace last year, he was hilariously bad and gave a last minute penalty away on Zaha. He played well yesterday though and has for most of the season and has a lot of pace over distance.

I must confess I thought this game had all the makings of an away win. Like it or not West Brom are having a decent season and we're still a little 'fragile'. Missed the match commentary on the radio yesterday and saw the very brief highlights on MOTD . didn't have time to browse through this thread after the game either. Always disappointing to lose a late goal like that but still another point in the bag after going behind early on with a goal. which, from the highlights I thought was one decision the ref truly got wrong.

It just shows how deluded fans are, not one of them mention the brunt tackle or the foster rear choke but mention everything else.

Surprised Feghouli is still being lumped in with Calleri, Zaza, Tore et al.

He's a lot more useful than that bunch, and miles better than Valencia, who he's essentially replaced in the squad. When everyone's fit, him and Ayew are only bench players. We've been in worse shape.

You are the love child of Sulivan and Brady and I claim my £5. (Sulivan who probably brought him in and Brady who would take her granny's last penny)

He stands and watches at set pieces (including throw ins when multiple unmarked players are right next to him. He waits for balls, he drops like a stone under insufficient pressure to knock over a 10 month old that's just learnt to stand and makes it so theatrical he can't get a foul even when it is one. His passing/decision making are awful. He was second to everything yesterday bar the rebound off the bar (important but not enough to justify his inclusion).

I rate that as probably his 2nd best performance for us and I'd have rather we played anyone else. The only time he's looked half decent was the the cameo before the really poor red card against man u and that was probably just because he lack the time to make a proper tit of himself.

I've been critical of Feghouli, but thought he played well yesterday and was sharp for his goal. One thing I do like about him is he holds his position wide, stretching the game and often open for a pass. We looked a threat down the right, hence why Pulis brought Johnny Evans on and pushed Chris Brunt forward - he was there for the taking second half.

Atmosphere was better, so added to Palace second half, promising for future games hopefully. Even walk back to station flowed well now the stop / go signs aren't being used.

Thought we worked hard, and heads didn't drop following the early goal - team spirit seems very good now. Lanzini's goal was very well taken, he needs to step up now and offer more consistency, a potentially special player.

Reid / Fonte look a strong reliable partnership, shame Fonte is 33.

Obiang class again, always looking for the ball into his feet. Great for a team having a player that will take a pass even in tight situations. One angled pass to Feghouli second half was world class.

Negative point - banging the same drum again I know, but no quality back up centre forward or right back is a disgrace at this level. We don't play people out of position in my son's U11's!! Kouyate easily done for their first, he shouldn't be in that position to start with.

In summary, stadium better, great team ethic and spirit, severely lacking squad depth to be top 8 challengers.

This summer's transfer window is make or break for the boards vastly diminishing credibility.

Feghouli's only played 590 odd minutes in total - that's about 6 games and change - and he's got 2 goals and 2 assists in that time (and just had another goal questionably chalked off).

In team terms, he's started the 5 most recent games and we've only lost one of them.

He's got a few very clear shortcomings for sure, but he's played his part in the recent revival.

If Antonio didn't do that stupid foul on the keeper we'd have won...yet nobody has pulled him up.

What was he thinking...

How many times has Antonio played as a right winger this season?? Not right wing back but an actual right winger, I didn't not think it's very much at all.

I like other really enjoyed the game Saturday, I couldn't fault the players even more so when you see how many are playing out of position.

What I liked most and it might sound confusing is I actually could see what we were trying to do Ian's got the best way we we're trying by to play. Even with the forced change it made sense to me and I've been over a lot this season Walking away thinking what was the game plan.

As for Winston Reid that boy must of said at half time it's ok boss I'll play centre back and left back he was outstanding!!

As with most who saw the game I come away with mixed emotions. Really good team performance and really deserved all three points but switched off at the crucial moment. Good atmosphere too, it really is a two way thing, 100% effort given on the pitch obviously translates to 100% given from us guys. Standouts for me Reid and Obiang. Mentions too for Feghouli, Snodders and Lanzini. Concerns again at right back, Kouyate caught out of position on a couple of occasions and a tired effort when up against Chadli for their first. When will we learn that RB needs a specialist player. Talking of which, have to disagree with many on here, didn't think Nyom looked any great shakes. Opinions eh? Snodgrass looks a really shrewd bit of business, his whipped in free kicks and corners must be a nightmare for defences, and an all round combative display.Feghouli too looked really useful yesterday. Reads the play well and is very quick. Seems to have a good understanding with Lanzini. Sure he loses the ball, but players who continually take defenders on will, nature of the role (Payet being a good example). Took his goal well though. Onwards and upwards, ultimately and most importantly it seemed we had a team to support, all busting a gut to play for West Ham, and that surely is the most important thing after the recent debacle we've all witnessed?

Two tap ins, and I assume you are counting the pass to Lanzini on Saturday as an assist? Can't remember the other one. Yes you have to make the run to get a tap in but more fortune than anything - even the disallowed one was just redirecting an errant shot.

He is basically Jarvis, runs a lot, flatters to decieve but ultimately not very good. We aren't going to make a European place, we aren't going to get relegated, we have Fernández, Quina and more on the bench. I'd rather range youth get some experience and make rookie mistakes they might learn from than watch him

Honestly, I wouldn't even back half our players not to f*ck that up on Saturday.

Most of them are well capable of failing to score from there.

People shouldn't be excusing Kouyate for that horrendous attempt at a tackle for WBA first. I appreciate he is not a right back, and tbf, other than that he played well there, but that was inexcusable regardless of the position he was playing in. Not helped by poor goalkeeping either.
Another goal which if Kalasnikov was still doing his goals conceded analysis would highlight a number of errors/ poor decisions from multiple players - Noble, Feoughouli, Kouyate and Randolph (even if there was a potential foul on Feghouli)
So many of the goals we concede are down to lack of concentration from multiple players or glaring individual errors, and thus avoidable. We have to stop making it easy for opposition to score. Their equaliser on Sunday another one

It was great seeing the effort and determination to get back in to the match, but, just think, if we had players playing in their right/strongest positions what they could accomplish?
The problem,as I see it, is that the player recruitment is a complete mess. There is no denying that the Snodgrass signing has solved/will solve our immediate threat of relegation, but going forward - he is a much better player playing on the right side - which is also Antonio's strongest position, along with Feghouli,Tore and Ayew, imo.
