Same as at Bournemouth, he just keeps drifting inside and leaving a massive hole for their left sided players to run into and double up on our right back who gets mugged off time and time again because of this.

Watch a re-run of their first goal yesterday viewed from behind their goal. Feghouli is trotting back and just about makes it out of the centre circle. Then from the same angle when their fella hit the post, he is standing up on the half way line with Carroll and Ayew
100% agree with this

Hull a team who looked down and out from the start, and we just sat back and let them in, yes great goal from Carroll but no one can persuade me he will ever be the full out and out striker we need, he is too slow at times when we break, he spends so much time on the wing, he also should never have been given the captain arm band, he is not that type of player! Lanzini did what he could but he had no one working with him, Snodgrass and Ayew another rest day, and flapping Randolph, why is Adrian not being even considered?

Sad day out!

Thats all that driving :D

I personally thought although never a threat (because he was working in the wrong areas) he always made himself available for a pass.

I'm not saying he's the answer...but i think we have bigger issues wide.

Did Feghouli actually put in a cross yesterday? I remember Byram sticking a couple in.

I was in the Khazi at HT and was chatting while doing my business saying that we wont keep a clean sheet..

Its hardly bloody rocket science is it !!

Currently we are needing 3 goals because we can't keep a clean sheet.

We can't score 3 goals every week.

Too depressed to write much about it. I'll just say it really feels like going to lose as soon as we let in even one goal. You can just see the mental weaknesses in the team manifest themselves as soon as one thing goes against us. We are in deep trouble.

Not mastered the double quote yet so

Re Romford .......Snod and Feg need to be played left back (in the changing room) . Got to say the old ones are the best ones ( jokes) not heard that one for a while :D

Again, didn't do much of anything really. Missed one excellent chance and gave the ball away quite regularly. Surprised he was picked. Surprised he stayed on. Bilic could have pushed Snodgrass out wide when he bought Fernandes on or replaced him with Fletcher. Both of which I think would have offered more attacking wise and defensively.

Feghouli put in the cross which Snodgrass should have scored from.

Surely we must have something better than Feghouli in the kids

Snodgrass looks a very poor buy too...doesn't even bother to dive anymore let alone play.
and you mate

Dwight1970 wrote:First of all watching our pre-match warm up didn't feel me with much confidence, the shots at goal had the Hull fans laughing at us especially when Fletcher over his own feet but whole thing seemed a shambles with players wandering all over the pitch seeming to ignore the coaches who themselves actually seemed more interested in practising their own ball skills.
.
I said this to my son some games ago it must have been a cup game on tv they the players were just not doing what the coach was asking them to do.
On the other hand I caught the Leicester warm up yesterday and Craig Shakespeare was out there with the players and the intensity on the fellows face said it all, well I can understand how the players have pulled their socks up so to speak.

That's what I thought tbh. Not trying to slate him, I thought he's done well in the past. Like most of the team yesterday he had a shocker, but I genuinely forgot he was playing for most of the game.

And both of those were because he did what a 6 year old does - just let the ball hit his head

If he had headed the ball like a professional footballer ought to he would almost certainly have scored

Same here Rom, watching Robertson charging up our right with Feg jogging / walking by the half way line had my blood boiling, he isn't good enough going forward to make up for the shocking defending he gives us to warrant a place in the team

I mentioned this earlier in the thread - plenty moaning about Byram but with Feghouli in front of him he is playing two v one most of the time
