would change a few to
adrian
byram fonte kouyate masuaka
snodgrass fernandez noble lanzini ayew
carroll
subs randolph collins cresswell nordsvelt fegouli fletcher quinna
surely need to play snod in this one. he must be up for it. chance to shine. give him first half and if necessary hook at half time for feg.
still think we have enough not to lose if we are committed from the first minute. start slow and we will be beaten.Slav needs to get this right or else the season will turn nasty. lose and we have arsenal on weds which we will no doubt lose leaving the swansea match as being crucial. They have picked up and the atmosphere might get to our lost and we could lose it.
so this is a huge match for us. win this and swansea and we are safe.

I think i would like to see Adrian back in the sticks too.
However perhaps hes made a point behind the scenes he will be leaving the end of his contract in which case may be a reason he hasn't had a recall.

Re: Hull City v West Ham Utd:match thread
hes only saying that as he knows hes better than randy. At least randy got to play behind a better defence but still messed up. If adrian was in goal against leicester we would have won the game 2-1
He is a confidence player and needs to come back in asap.

Head to Old Town if you like your beer.
Humber Street has been done up recently lots of new hipster type eateries if that's your thing.
Newland Avenue has decent independent places to eat too.
Get a 5 min train to Beverley for somewhere posh.

What about Saturday lunchtime Patito, or anyone else for that matter, where is everyone drinking?

I expect nothing less than a full spirited display, and not conceding first.

As others have said, if Snodgrass can't raise his game for this, then he aint never going to. Switch Adrian for Randolph and Masauka in for Cresswell, bring Noble back and start with Snodgrass, Ayew and Carroll to both start again.

Re: Hull City v West Ham Utd:match thread
Think we need to revert to a back 3 for this. The possibility of Fonte and Collins at the back leaves me fearing that a strike partnership of 2 tortoises could outpace them, Kouyate as the 3rd centre half, the Norweigan Joey O'Brien protecting them just in front, would leave me feeling slightly more comfortable.
Assuming Antonio is out. I'd go with
Adrian
Byram
Cresswell
Fonte
Collins
Kouyate
Snodgrass
Nordtveidt
Lanzini
Ayew
Carroll

First trip to Hull and first time going with Hornchurch Travel, so looking forward to it.
Did Sunderland last season with the official club coaches and would never go on them again

You don't make much sense, whose most of us?thejackhammer wrote:The absolute drivel on this site this week is embarrassing.
Zaza could've easily turned out to be a Gabbiadini, he didn't. Bad luck. But most of us were pretty excited about the signing.

My half full glass has got some cracks in it...but the players will, I'm sure, play to their loyalties and for the long term stability of the club...so another point will be made and we won't lose...the teams below us will make gains on us though.
1-1 draw

...................GK
Byram Fonte.... Kouyate Cresswell
............. Nordtveit
....... Noble ...... Fernandes
.......Ayew Lanzini Fletcher
Nord sits and is never out of touch with the centre halfs'. Drops back in a "muddled" back three if/when the full backs get caught on the counter. Noble / Fernandes win/collect ball and feed it quickly into a mobile attack force. No arseing about, control - look up - give..... to Ayew/Fletcher who's movement should be in to out and out to in, always working on the diagonal!
Lanzini to not play as a false nine. Let him do as he sees fit at any given time.
Follow these instructions to a T and it's an obvious 3-0 to Hull City.
Before anyone asks, I've never played Champs Manager, I'm a fool by nature.

I wouldnt put nordsvelt in for this game. showed nothing for norway and been poor so far for us. He would need to start a home to swansea maybe if you want him to play.
Carroll is our best striker and at present fit. Needs to play this game and sit out the arsenal game. Then back for swansea.
Ayew can drop deep if we need to defend more but would like to see him close to carroll most of the time.
snod to get 45 mins and depending on how up for it he is .If poor bring fegouli on.
cresswell been poor so masuaka stays in the team.Gives him some confidence and cresswell a ick up the backside.
No way do we want collins and fonte together as too slow. Kouyate and fonte best partnership currently available.
2- 0 west ham COYI Ayew and snodgrass !
