Re: West Ham United v Swansea City: Match Thread
We need to show our hand early and go straight at them. We concede the first goal and the place will be a nightmare.
As said no changes, other than Adrian. He can make mistakes also, but he'll have a bit more in him if he's brought back into the side.

Adrian would also help to pump up the crowd, as despite any shortcomings he's still a cult hero in my book.

Cup final for us, win this and I think Swansea might be finished, lose it and I think we will seriously struggle to stay up.
Adrian has to start for me, Sakho too if he is fit enough, I've said it once I'll say it again, when he's fit he is the best striker at the club. I'd drop Fonte (terrible signing so far) and put Kouyate at CB as he offers nothing in midfield. Very simple, 4-4-2, we can't defend so we might as well try and score some goals.
Adrian
Byram Collins Kouyate Masuaku
Ayew Lanzini Noble Antonio
Carroll Sakho

Bilic will name an unchanged team (barring injuries), he doesn't have the imagination to do otherwise.
Biggest game in the history of the new stadium.

3-2 win with us grabbing the winner late on.
Adrian, Antonio and Lanzini to start, not bothered with the rest.

Sakho and Carroll up front. Ayew to the bench. Adrian in. Randolph to the bench. Recall Oxford and play him in front of the back four. Maybe Byram right back and Kouyate in front of back four...something like that.
.................. Adrian
Kouyate/ Byram Collins Fonte Cresswell/M
............ Oxford/Kouyate
.......Antonio. Noble. Lanzini
............ Sakho. Carroll
Something like that.

4-4-2 is deadPC Hammer wrote:Have to go 442 or 433 forget any other combination.
Why, as this evening, take off your only striker on the pitch when 1 down and put on another striker,,,,then lose 3-0....
There isn't a successful team around who play it anymore
our best team if everyone was fit would be
----------------Adrian
Byram---Reid--Ogbonna--Cresswell
------------Obiang--Kouyate
Antonio--------Lanzini------Ayew
-----------------Carroll
However we are missing 2 key players from this line up
so we need to make best of the bad situation we find ourselves in
---------------------Adrian.
Bryam------Fonte----Kouyate---Cresswell
------------Fernandez----Noble
Antonio----------Lanzini------Ayew
-------------------Carroll

Start quickly, get a goal, sub on every defender in our squad and don't move out of our half for the rest of the game.

Ref won't start the game if we don't field at least another 6
I'm stuck with just 5live for this....mega stressful. We simply have to win somehow.

The fact Antonio came off at HT today would suggest he felt his injury again. If he was only fit for 45 mins surely it would of made sense to keep him for the 2nd half rather than start him?

Here's a remedy...Come to the WHUISA meeting at the Hammers Supporters Club In Castle Street from 11am on Saturday, vent your spleen, we shall take it to the club as we have a meeting lined up with them shortly, get a shed load of beers in, pay our respects to the Boleyn Ground then go to the new place and support West Ham United F.C. to victory against Swansea.

Played SWansea second last game at the Boleyn last season and stank the place out.
Can see it being a draw or another defeat.
Just can't fathom a win at the moment.

Fernandes and Sakho must start this I would drop Noble and either Fonte or Collins. Adrian to start as well if we don't win this game we will get relegated. It's three points or nothing I'm afraid.

It is my dear old mums 70th on Saturday so I have to miss this one.
Thank f*** for that.
Had enough of all of it.
Wake me up in August and whatever division we are in o will be at the first game.
Couldn't give a **** if we win, draw or lose to be honest.

Wolves 2010 all over again I fear. They strike me as the kind of side that can bounce back under Clement, with the players they have, we, on the other hand, just look like we're melting.
