Yet again we will lose to lukaku. Yet again we will concede three. Yet again we will find ourselves looking over our shoulder at the bottom of the table.

And yet again Slav will get stick when G, S and B should be the focus of it.

Yet again the board will be used as a scapegoat. Win and Bilic gets the credit.

What have GSB done differently this season as opposed to last season?

-----------------------Adrian
--Nordtveit----Fonte-----Collins-----Masuaku
----------------Kouyate----Fernandes
-----Snodgrass-----Lanzini------Ayew
-------------------------Carroll

Subs: Randolph - Cresswell - Feghouli - Sakho (?) - Fletcher - Calleri - ????

Given the injuries and absences, that's a surprisingly senior first XI with enough senior subs to make three changes.

I would quite like to see Nordtveit in a DM pair at some point. I wouldn't start Reid even if fit. No need to rush.

This will be my sons last game for ages, possibly years (he is off to Canada).
He is gutted because several of his favorite players are missing. I am gutted for him because I genuinely believe we are going to get stuffed.

They moved us from our spiritual home to a rented 60,000 Ground and rose expectations. Then they failed miserably in both transfer windows before continually undermining the manager throughout this season. Don't recall any of that happening last season

I am really struggling to understand posts like this. Why on earth would the board be responsible if we lost 3-0 to Everton?

Everton fan – in peace

I understand your negativity but I think this game could have quite a few goals in it.

With Randolph and Robles in goal almost anything could happen, if I was Koeman or Bilic I would be encouraging anyone who could stand on one leg, even from 30 yds to have a dig

You are safe, we can’t realistically finish higher or lower than seventh (unless Arsenal have a monumental meltdown or if WBA do something incredible)

I don’t think Koeman is the type of fella who would appreciate Everton turning up on the pitch wearing a pair of Speedos, a hand towel, flip-flops, Ray-bans and a set of Beats !

But I do think psychologically this is far from being a given for us.

So don’t be filling in your fixed odds coupons just yet.

Think we'll lose 4-0, can't see any real positives going into this, they've been scoring for fun as long as they aren't playing one of the top teams and we/keeper can't defend

I've already spent the winnings from my Lukaku hatrick bet.

Agree though, goal fest. Whether we manage to take part in said fest remains to be seen. Can see a 2-4 or something

Was with you until Tore: Don't believe that he is injured, more a case of terminal (at least with us) uselessness. Anyone that actually plays must be better.

Errr.... Lukaku 3 - West Ham 0

Why can't we play Creswell as RB? On his current form , it won't matter much which side he plays but he's got to be quicker than Nordvelt.

-------------------------Adrian---------------------------
-----------Kouyate----Fonte-----Collins-----------
Masuaku--Nordveit--Fernandes--Cresswell
----------------Ayew-----------Lanzini---------------
-------------------------Carroll--------------------------

3-4-3 - Kouyate pockets Lukaku. Masuaku goes RWB. Crewsswell and Masuaku get really far forward. Fernandes is box to box. Nordveit is holding in the middle. Ayew and Lanzini play underneath Carroll on the knockdowns. I know Adrian has no chance, but I would really like to see him in the side.

We will lose 5 - 3 after taking a quick two goal lead. Lukaku to score a hat trick.

Employ Ginge to stick tight to Lukaku and rough him up at every opportunity, stand on his feet, clip his heels when his backs to goal, head in the back of his when they go up for a header, really get stuck into him and get in his head, it's better than standing off and admiring his finishing.

3-1 to Everton our goal keeper is **** our defence is poor and our midfield is light weight. I just see us getting bullied all over the park. Definitely a howler from Randolph in this game.
