Seconded !

I just have no confidence that we will spend anywhere near what needs spending. If we finish just outside the top 10, I believe they'll think the squad just needs tweaking. 16th and surely the penny might drop...

16th=avoiding relegation=success, as far as the board are concerned.
Plan is to spend as little as possible in the summer to avoid relegation again.

Will be tougher avoiding drop next year for sure .i think Brighton and Newcastle willl be alright .that leaves most likely candidates as play off winner ,Watford ,Burnley maybe ,the likes of palace Swansea will be much stronger next year .will be much tougher

It's disgraceful though isn't it ? World class team for a world class stadium we were told. Nothing about a team who will huff and puff their way to safety in a bowl that'll have none of the features promised

If we are to sign Zabaleta, as a minimum, we need 3 quality additions to supplement the first team.

We keep saying it but each and every window for this club becomes more and more important.

Biggest question is will Slav be given his P45 after the game!

I hope we get a reaction from the squad but on the evidence of Sunday 1-0 to Burnley :P

If I didn't already have tickets for this my interest would've been zero on Sunday in the result, really doesn't matter... just going for the away day/PP.

Adrian
Byram
Collins
Reid (c)
Ogbonna (hopefully, made the bench on Sunday)
Cresswell
Fernandes
Quina
Ayew
Lanzini
Fletcher

Subs: Randolph, Fonte, Rice, Feghouli, Snodgrass, Nordtveit, Calleri

Martinez probably deserves half hour after his double tonight, if it's possible.

Surely it's possible for him to play? Ake got recalled from Bournemouth and he's allowed to play for Chelsea

Maybe it's different not sure

Didn't realise Martinez was available again, got to give him a start along with Fletcher to see what they can do. Could even go all out and drop Lanzini deeper for either Nordy or Fernandez and put Ayew behind the strikers.

Sure I read somewhere that Martinez can't play for the first team until after a window officially opens

Must be someone out there who know for sure - where's the dude who sorted out Manny Omoyimni to play for us against Villa when you need him?

Any news on Masuaku, anything at all, just an indication or something ......perhaps after his knock 3 games ago that would be cleared up in a week......

14 goals in 14 PL2 appearances, and for a team that's been struggling for strikers most of the season. I'd have no qualms about giving him half an hour.

Sadly that won't seem too much of a threat to a guy who clearly thrives on getting spanked in and around the centre-circle...

Those picking Quina in their sides.

All I have seen of him is earlier in the season in the Europa thing and he looked like a little boy lost to me.

Can someone tell me whats changed in the meantime apart from the fact that he has been labelled 'promising'?

Martinnez needs to be given the chance from the kick off, he has a few to recover, I would also put Samuelsen on the bench they work well together, what's the point of keeping players who strike Blanks continuously in the team.

We need some players with hunger in their bellies!
