Cannot stress the "take lots of money" thing strongly enough. Man alive, the booze especially is very expensive. Isn't locally produced booze significantly cheaper though? I'm really just talking about Black Death, or whatever the proper name is for it. Can't recall drinking anything else.

Don't forget to visit the penis museum.

LOL forgot about that, nice one. The Penis Museum is located almost at the top of Laugavegur.

Well Black Death, Brennivín, is a little bit cheaper to buy in the government off licence but not a lot. The locally produced booze is unfortunately not cheaper and in most cases even more expensive than the imported stuff.

I don't know who thought this game was a good idea just before the season starts. City will put 4/5 past us for a nice moral boosting defeat just before we play the red side of Manchester.

Yeah, wasn't sure about the booze, only vaguely recall the wife telling me that this was the case (she has no concept of money). As you say, food is pretty good. Wasn't keen on the fermented shark though. Minke whale was tasty, but a totally different thing. Only really "London prices" in the decent restaurants.

Gutted I'm not going  but whoever decided to book this friendly a week before the season starts it's a brave person! Could be smashed for 4 or 5 before we play the other Manchester team!

TBH if we keep it at 5 I'll be pretty happy.Pre season but playing some sensational stuff.Theyve not played since Saturday. We played yesterday and will be out on our feet. What also is not great ,is I presume hart will play 90 mins could be very embarrassing for him.Actually gonna stick some money on city for CL today think they are 14/1

I'm taking a bag with pot noodles and pasties , my plan is to bang the door of someone's house and ask to borrow their kettle and microwave for 5 minutes .

Oh, and have the most expensive item on the Chuck Norris menu .Right in the eye Chuck .

city fans rubbing their hands in anticipation...should have put 6 or 7 past a good tottenham side...i think a few think double figures could be achievable

i think we will raise our game...its important that we put on a display and look more solid at the back before going to old trafford
