Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Could have done with Reid getting a proper hard game with the first team rather than a kick about with the U23's. No news anywhere on Kouyate? Would have been nice to get Lanzini back in to build with Arnautovic and Hernandez before Man United as well.

Kouyate is out for the first few games of the season. Bilic confirmed that a while back.

I would like to think we'll go with our strongest available line up tomorrow, giving those players maximum time on the pitch to be ready for Man Utd on Sunday week. I wonder how long they'll give Chicha, 45/60 mins?

Ogbonna
Masuaku
Obiang
Noble
Snodgrass / Fernandes / Holland

Just a tip for everyone travelling- check your emails today. I've just got an email saying my ticket has been upgraded from standing behind the goal to section I in the main stand.

I wonder if that means due to poor ticket sales they are only opening the main stand and maybe a smaller section somewhere else?Sawbo wrote:Just a tip for everyone travelling- check your emails today. Wouldn't be surprised. Last I heard they'd sold 3000 tickets. Maybe its to make the standing tickets more palatable to the locals at a more affordable £40 ?

Reckon Lanzini will be out for a while... well at least miss the opening game of the season
Not in the squad and where Reid and Sakho mentioned playing a behind closed doors game on Saturday, Lanzini isn't.

Cresswell did his hamstring against Altona, don't know how serious it is though. Wouldn't expect him to be back for first game of season.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
playing two games in 24 hours was a stupid idea. even if you chaanged the whole team whats the point.
we are only a chico injury away from disaster hence the need for a second striker coming in asap.
no injuries today and a good performance are important. result is meaningless.just hope its not a thrashing which is not good for morale.
we need to stop conceding so many against these. 2-1 defeat would be fine.
hart
zabaleta fonte rice masuaka
byram obiang fernandez arnautovic
chico martinez
arnie and chico fonte subs at half time
hart zab masuaka obiang subbed at 60 mins

Arthur Masuaku is the starting full back for me anyway.continental skills wrote:Cresswell did his hamstring against Altona, don't know how serious it is though. Wouldn't expect him to be back for first game of season.
