You can make four subs in this round of this cup.

Well, a couple of teams who played last night in this round definitely made 4 subs anyway.
4th one only allowed in extra time

Well we won and got a clean sheet so that's something.

Wasn't particularly great though.

So, so pointless. Gotta give these kids 10+ minutes.
Indeed, seems to do it a lot and its very frustrating. What's the ****ing point? Either you think they're ready to play a part or they're not. Two minutes is just a cop out.

What were you expecting?

Plenty of positives to take away from that.

Rice was really impressive.

Not sold at all on Masuaku. Fernandes seems to be anonymous whenever he starts a game.

Good win.

Could have been different if one of their chances had gone in but decent performance. Kouyate back, Rice and Ginge looked good.

And we got a win! And a clean sheet! Perfect!

Thought Rice was excellent in what was a fairly ordinary performance. Always seems to make the right decisions when he has the ball, could have a great future. Also thought Arthur looked suspect defending. Hopefully a decent springboard for Saturday! :crest:

comfortable 2-0 win, a fair bit of tidy football punctuated by a couple of hairy moments.

not good enough for some, but like i said earlier, it's all about colours nailed to the mast. there are some on here who will be absolutely genuinely gutted that we didn't concede at least once just so they can keep their agenda going.

Match fitness for Collins, Kouyate and Arthur.

A game for Adrian to stake his place.

Experience for Fernades, Rice and Quina.

An easy 20 minutes for Chico who didn't have a pre season and through to the next round.
Exactly this. Job done in the first half, then basically a training match from there. Some good passing and movement in the final third, just couldn't quite find another goal.

Always like us in a diamond, but difficult to fit our best players in that formation.

Yeah. Get the impression some would have been happy if we lost. Sums up today's fans.

"We won 2=0 why wasn't it 6".

Miserable fickle sky generation.

Saw more of the birthday boy than I wanted too! He had a solid game, he's a body on the line kind of guy, happy with the clean sheet. We looked good at the sharp end in particular Chicarito who looked a class above anyone else on the park when he came on. Rice was quality.

Would have been nice to see Quina get longer and also to have seen Haksabanovic (spelling!) but winning the game was most important.
