They lost to WBA, drew to Huddersfield and beat a Palace side who I thought were unfortunate not to come away with anything from Turf Moor. So frustrating that with the quality we have in this side we still play some poor poor football. We should be beating this mob and anything less than a win is a bad result in my eyes, only due to the fact that 7 points from 7 games just is not good enough. But knowing West Ham and Bilic (though this is for another thread) it will probably be a 0-0 or a 1-1.
7 from 4 games is very good though, and 8 from 5 is pretty good too.
We’re 6th in the table since September, let’s forget our horrid start and get behind Bilic
No way Slaven sits Andy "Man of the Match" Carroll.
Probably a repeat of the West Brom match against a wiley opponent that many on here have turned their noses up at repeatedly. They are a dangerous, well-organized side who deserve our respect.
I'd take a 1-1, especially if Andy plays the entire match. Think we could win 2-1 if we start Hernandez and Sakho.

I don't think he will either. He should, but I reckon he will start with the same eleven that faced Swansea. Lumping it up there, however, against these is not the worst tactic in the world

Since we haven't witnessed any real tactical nous from Slav I too expect a messy game up there with little free flowing football which given the pace we now hold is sad.
Since Burnley went to Chelsea and scored 3 goals on the opening day they've managed to score just 1 goal or none in all of their Premiership games which suggests to me that someone must have given Sean Dyche ' The George Graham Bumper Book Of Goals ' and ' The Way I Set Up Teams ' by Tony Pulis for Christmas , Barcelona they are not but they're disciplined and as well drilled as they've ever been this season keeping Everton at bay for over 70 minutes after scoring the only goal of the game last Sunday .
With the success we've had with going 5 at the back it would be natural to think we'll continue with the system but I can see us going 4-4-2 again - I think we'll see Burnley going with the same system playing Vokes and Wood up front .
Burnley 1 West Ham United 2 [ Hernandez , Carroll ]
I'd take that. It's been ages since I thought we had some steel and played with fire in our bellies. Aren't they always up in the hardest runners in the league? Would go down well here.
Just to stay on topic I think Wood will score because so many of us laughed at that signing. Things like that always seem to give us a karmic kick in the rear!
Looking forward to this. First away of the season.
Just seen there’s a ticket up on the Twickets site if anyone still needs one: https://www.twickets.co.uk/block/381856952488129,1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
