There's a reason why no one likes them. Whether you support West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea or Shrewsbury...everyone thinks they are a bunch of c****.

Ahhhhh, that was you was it? Sorry about that.

What a night, didn't actually see the ball hit the back of the net on any of the goals.
1st one, you knew Ayew was going to score, everyone went mental, blokes coming from everywhere, falling over the seats and rolling around on the floor.
2nd one, with the flight of the ball, you knew it was in and away we go again.
3rd one, we were right in line with that one and everyone is everywhere before it hits the back of the net. Hence the reason I've got a swelling to my knee and a massive swelling. Those seats don't move do they?

I'm currently re-watching last night's game this time without a bellyful of nerves and what I'm noticing is we didn't play as badly as I thought - our problem was not getting past their final quarter but our build up play wasn't bad , Ayew was carrying the ball quite neatly and laying off accurate passes , Andy Carroll is more involved that some made out , the reason why we were all so nervous [ including the players ] is due to that early goal we let in , otherwise we didn't play at all badly , I'm 31 minutes in and I would say West Ham have had more of the ball though the Tottenham defence haven't been troubled as such - Tottenham get their second just before half time so everything looked worse than it actually was .

Credit to Slaven Bilic for keeping his cool , credit to the players for keeping the faith and not letting their heads drop and credit to the West Ham Supporters for singing our team to victory !! :crest:

What's extra special about beating Tottenham is that, after the feast of the match itself, they provide the brandy and cigar with their reactions. I couldn't wait for the OV so I went on the Fighting Cock last night, and enjoyed the match all over again through the eyes of an army of tossers. Fantastic stuff, and really striking that not one of them gave West Ham any credit for the win.

One side note: when Sullivan father and son were on screen, dad had his hand over his mouth but the lad didn't. Don't suppose we've got any lipreaders on the forum have we?

Anyone got any more good videos of us going bonkers at the 3rd goal?
Seen a couple here and the one filmed from far away of Adrian running the length of the pitch

Still can't believe we won, bloody brilliant, was still down in the concourse for our first goal.

It's going to be hard to top an away game like that! :scarfer:
