I get the feeling he gets us more then Hart does.OFT wrote:
I'd be amazed if Adrian starts but there's something about his and Nobes presence on the pitch
Not surprising if Hart is just here for a season though.
Personally I would prefer Adrian in goal.

Not his biggest fan, but think we will need Carroll out there. They are going to sit deep, soak up what we through at them then use Zaha to hit us on the break.
Threading balls through 8 men to Hernandez will be bloody difficulty so we need to be able to mix it up.
And I’ll keep my knee jerk reactions to full time for this one...

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd: match thread
A defeat here would be disastrous as it would put them only two points adrift of us despite losing 8 of their opening 9 league games.
I'd take a draw if offered right now.
Keeps them anchored at the bottom and would psychologically be damaging for them as they'll have targeted us a winnable home game.
I also don't think we are in any position to turn our noses up at an away point anyway.

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd: match thread
After last night I fancy a similar team with a few changes to bring back some of the ‘on paper’ ‘first team’... Zaba has been great for the year but I want Bryam to stay in so I fancy Zabaleta as one of the CBs. Cress back in too, not that Arthur has done anything wrong. Kouyate wasn’t great at Spurs and I personally don’t get the fascination with Rice - he ain’t good enough yet. Hernandez has to come back in though and you can’t leave out Ayew. Adrian and Captain Noble are essential IMO.

Leaves Carroll, Antonio and Arnie as your impact players to change it up if needed.
Of course I don’t expect this to be the team... But it makes perfect sense in my head!

Hart
Zab, Fonte,Reid Cresswell
Antonio, Noble, Kouyate, Lanzini
Carroll, Ahew
I fear CP players Bakary Sakho, Townsend, Cabaye, Zaha, Puncheon,McArthur.
I am far from confident that we can beat C.Palace after seeing them play and beat Chelsea quite convincingly and I will be happy with a draw. Some of the goals Bristol City scored against them were fantastic and one-offs but CP also missed quite a few chances.

Agreed. Hart seems not to care really. Another loan club before Man City let him go on a free.mushy wrote: I get the feeling he gets us more then Hart does.

Hart not caring is complete crap. Have you watched him during a game? People come out with complete **** on here most of the time.

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd: match thread
I would have Hernandez on the bench and bring him on when Crystal Palace are tiring. Use Carroll as a battering ram for sixty minutes before that. Don't go for a pretty performance just a professional workmanlike one and we might win this. I think good football might have to wait for a while until the confidence is back up and we get the basics right again (like cutting out all the errors).
Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd: match thread
If we win, it could be a big weekend for us given the games the teams around the bottom have.
Swansea & Bournemouth have got tough games, Everton & Leicester are playing each other and Stoke are away at an in form Watford.

Can I just say that I have no idea how this match will go!
At least the 3:0 and 4:0 win predictors are staying low
