If it's on TV Coutinho will turn up, he doesn't seem to bother half the time but everytime the limelight is on he seems to have a blinder.

Downing shredding Gerrard a few years ago in this fixture is one of my all time favourite moments in football. Perfectly encapsulated the scouse sense of entitlement. Gerrard on the ball, sees Downing coming to challenge him, so sticks up an elbow in his former team-mate's face. Downing brushes it off, and gets the ball before tearing off towards goal. Gerrard gets dumped on his arse and instantly signals to the referee instructions to book Downing for legitimately evading his illegal strike and cleanly winning the tackle.

We got 1 point of this mob last year at their ground and we got tonked by 4 at our horrible gaff. We are dropping points on teams we beat last year so we need to get something from these. Respect the point.

We will play well for 20 minutes and then one misplaced pass and we are 1-0 down. 2-0 by half-time. We play well after half-time and then concede against the run of play. Game becomes a dull training match. As you can see I am feeling upbeat this morning.

Pick the form players.Has to be a back 3 or they will rip us to pieces.Id play a front 3 of ayew Hernandez Martinez. This game May well be about who scores the most goals.Yes that’s most games but I mean something silly like a 4-3. Martinez scored again at weekend for U23 deserved a chance.

This is going to be awful, as will be the post match jizzfest that will follow as pundits, journos and social media dickheads drain their testicles over Klopp's boys. If Sturridge is fit, plays, scores and does that dance I think I'll stop watching football forever.

Agreed. Klopp is given an easy ride by thr press. I fancy a classic Upton Park night under the lights, albeit at the bowl.

Their defence is almost as bad as ours but unfortunately our lot don't seem to know what they are supposed to be doing we don't seem to have a game plan at all, Klopp's style is fast pressing of the ball our poor lads who cant pass to a team mate at the best of times. I cant see much happening other than hoof the ball away then await the next wave of Liverpool attack.

Some of the stuff on here... and we think the Scouse fans are deluded.

We will gift them our two customary goals, probably more. And I doubt we will score more than two.

3-1 Liverpool.

There is always the possibility of Winning a game and has been proved nothing is over until it’s over ....

Then there’s always the hope of winning when any fan steps into their ground to see their team play....

None of that can be deluded.... no matter how darkly some may paint it...

Obviously I want West Ham to beat Liverpool for selfish reasons but I hope the West Ham players believe they can beat Liverpool, they absolutely can.

How many goals will we need to score to get a point?

I'd take a wild stab at 3.

Seems we won’t have Reid, Zab, Collins, Fonte and Byram they are out for this game.... I read somewhere else that Cress is carrying a knock and it seems Antonio played injured on Saturday or at least its being said when talking about his performance last...

We have a few more training days left ......

:)

That injury list is growing nicely again. Plenty of time left also for Carroll to break a toe nail and be out until Easter.

Let's just make a fight of it. Lots of yellow cards and hard challenges. Bilic to rake his shoe down Klopp's shins early doors.

If only it wasn’t at home to a team they’ve already beaten 7-0 away.
Sort of game they will rest a lot of players I’d guess.
