constructive critisism

Post by tugboatpete69 »

looking at todays game + Brighton/crystal palace we were awful in the first half -(manager set us up wrong) the reluctance to put two strikers up front is ridiculous- I watched Bristol city hit 4 past palace playing with a big centre forward and magnussen (remember him Iceland ) long throw they couldn't cope- what did we do 4 days later against palace ? kept carrol on the bench.
Todays set up was abysmal can we blame the manager ? david gold has openly said "fernandes is a great player" HE IS ***** david Sullivan has quoted" I can still pick a player andre ayew) HE IS ***** so the blame cant be directed solely towards slaven but we have a £28 million pound player on the bench we have carrol we also have our best centre forward sakho who gets 20 mins here and there for this slaven is to blame
the non pressing game the freedom in midfield I have to be honest if noble just went and kicked one of them right in the nuts I would have approved!! I think we all would have

hart is not to bame either -he could improve and I don't believe he is englands number 1 but the defence in front of him is appalling cresswwell for the third!! kuoyate is our midfield man not centre back and look at fernandes tracking back for their second he is fkin useless
hopefully this hasn't been a rant
do I want billic to go???? id like him to play 2 up front sakho and carrol hernandes behind them -Antonio and anoutovic l-r
kouyate obiang- zab reid oggbona hart- no place for cresswell /noble FERNANDES and ayew lanzini all subs

£62 quid....30 seconds of excitement when our Little Jewel pulled one back....snuffed quickly when Firmino ran at will up the middle of the pitch to feed Ox.

Shambles.

And thats being kind.

Can't believe how disorganised our defence is.

Careful UTJ, posting a picture of the manager on the match thread, you know there's a separate thread for that? Might get this one locked again...

I think if Slav manages to stay here any longer or where ever he goes ... I think he really needs to lose those guys around him....

I think he puts far too much trust in those guys and they have let him down more than the players...

I don’t get why the board don’t sack them... they say they have looked for a suitable replacement but surely just getting them out with strong replacements would be no worse than talk of a care taker manager..
I was thinking the same. I could see it being different with different support staff. I would imagine that Bilic being Bilic he would remain loyal to them and resign if they were sacked beneath him.

The good - Fernandes is becoming my favourite player
The bad - Noble needs to go to Ipswich or somewhere like that, 10 great years but can't start again
The ugly - The white seats at the end.

The first half was horrific even by West Ham/Liverpool standards, whats the opposite of "really fired up"
that was us.

God! Watching it again on MOTD makes it look 10 times worse, especially seeing all our players trotting and putting in powder puff tackles. Hopeless!!!

Conceded more goals than anyone else this season. At what point do we change the goalkeeper?
