Oh how we need a new midfield three to give Lanzini the support he needs.MD_HM wrote:------------------------------ Hart ------------------------------

Is Collins defo back ? Can’t see Reid making this, considering his WC qualifier is early hours Thursday and he’s had x2 intense games and flown to NZ and back.

Our midfield can retreat to our own half faster to lump it up to Carroll.OnePaulHilton wrote:Can't see what difference two weeks of running and more running will make to that line up.

Good fixture for Moyes to start with: not the expectation of a home win, but away to side above us in the league, but on a poor run themselves.
Watford 0-1 WHU. Goal from a set piece. Otherwise solid defending but stodgy attacking.

We will play like the 70s Brazil, win 0-4 but people will still be moaning...

You know Arnautovic has been away on international duty for Austria, don't you?hammerman11 wrote:arnie has been awful worse than Snodgrass. moyes has said that if you don't run and don't train hard you wont play. so I cant see arnie starting that's for sure.
he wont change he is a lazy sod and a luxury player who does nothing.
Very unlikely he's had a training session with the new manager yet.

I agree. Carroll should be kept on the benchwoodywoody wrote:Why does everyone suddenly want carol up front for this game when he has been tosh most of this season and the same fans that moan about hoof football, confused

Silva wants to speak to Everton.
Could be an interesting couple of days.

A manger wanting to take over a club near the bottom of the league that’s doing well and employed.... neverHammerMan2004 wrote:Silva wants to speak to Everton.

Higher wages and a large transfer budget I’d imagine is key... what a shock

This is arguably not good news for us. Things like this in the short term tend to create a sort of siege mentality and a crutch for the players to use to motivate one another.HammerMan2004 wrote:Silva wants to speak to Everton.

Certainly adds a twist to our already intreaguing game

Watford have told Everton to do one - and there's no break clause in his 2-year contract.

IF the manager wants to go then surely it’s just a case of what the compensation will be and he probably needs to request it and forfeit any loyalty payments etc...

Five out, plus five possibly outs for Watford and they've been downwardly mobile of late.
New manager factor for us so any Watford scouting wasted their time.
I'm actually looking forward to this match without a sense of foreboding for the first time in a long while.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if we mugged them

Re: Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
So realistically, what's the pool of players we can select from this weekend? Who's confirmed injured, and who's not going to have had enough time back after international duty?

Silva looking to jump ship already doesn’t make him look good.

Probably looking to jump now before he gets pushed in the summer.thejackhammer wrote:Silva looking to jump ship already doesn’t make him look good.
Watford will sack him saying they didn't meet their expected performance over the season.
Re: Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
Chicharito - Hamstring on international duty, Antonio wasn't in training last week back this week I think but not likely to make it, Fonte, long term, Byram thigh, not sure about Collins. That's it so far as I know.Burnley Hammer wrote:So realistically, what's the pool of players we can select from this weekend?
