Everton fans on the Phone-In. One wants Allardyce and the other wants Pulis.

Now another is calling for McClaren.

Ayew has to start, also Antonio and Hernandez if fit. Give Sakho a start if Hernandez isnt fit. If he starts with Carroll again I will puke. What use is a striker who doesn't score? About as much use as a paper condom.

In some ways seeing Everton get beat so badly today may work against us as they may have a reaction...hope not. A win here is very much needed, got a feeling for a scoredraw though.

Our line up? Lot to be said for starting the same team and trying for some continuity and building of on-the-pitch partnerships rather than chopping and changing imo.

I think Moyes will have noted that Charlie Austin helped himself to two headed goals against this lot today

Provided that we graft like we did against Leicester then we must be in with a chance against this lot, if not then at least it's honest enough which is basically all that I've been wanting for the passed eighteen months.

A bit of honesty and pride back.

Charlie Austin has excellent movement in the penalty box. He doesn't just stand there waiting for the ball to land on his head

Please please start Sakho. He offers movement down the channels, he makes runs in the box and he is perfectly decent in the air

I'm still undecided on Carroll. If we had the Carroll from last year I would definitely start with him against their rubbish defence. And I thought he was better against Leicester. But goals win games and we have only scored once in the last 3 games and Carroll has had zero goals or assists so far this season. Even Bubbles' post a week or so a go showing the stats about how much points with and without Carroll has made me think twice, as it is a good point. I would probably just about go with Carroll coming off the bench. But thank god I'm not the one that has to make the decision. The one change I'd 100% make is to drop Ogbonna. We concede EVERYTIME he plays. Stops picking him! I'm not saying we wouldn't with anyone else. But lets at least give ourselves a chance! If it's true Collins is back for f*ck sake pick him! I would even gamble picking Rice and playing him centre half over Ogbonna!

I would go with:

-------------------------------------Hart-----------------------------------------

-Zabaleta------------------Collins---Reid---------------------Cresswell-

----------------------------Kouyate---Obiang--------------------------------

-Arnautovic-------------------Lanzini-----------------------Masukau-

-----------------------------------Ayew---------------------------------------

Subs: Adrian, Rice, Fernandes, Antonio, Noble, Carroll, Sakho.

Don't think playing with only 10 men is a particularly good idea!

I felt more confident about our trip to Goodison than our home game last Friday. I still do. Both teams are shockingly poor at the back. Their goal difference is now worse than ours which is an incredible feat. Our confidence should be better than there’s, it’s a matter of keeping calm and composed. Not being so wasteful in possession and more importantly giving lanzini the impetus to wreak havoc.

It’s got 0-0 all over it.

It wouldn't be very West Ham like to not oblige a team struggling and desperate for a win. Particularly given our track record on Merseyside.

If Everton get a new manager in the next two days they will probably get the “new manager bounce” that every struggling club seems to get when a new manager comes in....

Mind you Sunderland didn’t last season....

They seem more eager to turn on the team than we are.

If we can somehow nick an early goal we probably will win...
