According to Sky's Sunday Supplement the team covered 15km more yesterday than they did in the first game of the season.

There's probably an element of that but perhaps people are being cautious of 'another false dawn' and have learnt to reign in expectation. Superb result though, it's wonderful that little bit of 'The West Ham Way' is still alive and kicking.

Is Moyes really getting our team to work together? After all, we've got some fantastic players.
The board have put their money where their mouth is but it fell apart for Bilic with the dependence on Payet.
If we carry on like that then a top half finish should be no probs this season. What will be interesting is when and for how long Moyes' contract gets extended. My guess is he'll see the season out and they give him a three year stint. Whether he takes it depends on how they meddle with transfers 'cos I reckon Moyes takes no ****.
On the Chelski side - been cruising the Shed End and even they abhor the cheating and diving going on. Our six yellows were ridiculous. Three would've done the trick. Also, the yellow for Alonso was an absolute joke but they should've had more for their antics. All in all they agree that the better team won.
Can't wait for Wednesday night now!

Always a please reading these obviously after a win against another London team makes it all the more juicy. Chelsea fans are easily the shiitest. Were nowhere to be seen before the dirty russian money now think they have always been there. Love bearing these.

It's the incredulity that they have lost that sums up the spoiled entitlement that his generation of fans of the 'top' teams have. How the opposition can have the temerity to beat them. But it's a big bump when you fall off that perch, and can you really enjoy it when you get back up there? I almost feel sorry for them.

I still have trouble believing that one of them bemoaned their 'lack of squad depth'

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pfpU6XArYCoLooks like the rank stewards got to them as well and they are equally dismissive of that athletic stadium, but the rest of the rant warms the cockles,

Great tempo from the off. Really got into them and deserved to take the lead. Superb performances from Noble and Obiang in the middle, they didn’t stop all game.
Antonio also deserves a mention for his non stop effort and desire. Arnautovic looked like the player we signed and Masuaku was also at his very best.
Very frustrated with Moyes and his team for not spotting the face that Antonio was running on empty, risked injury by leaving him on so long and don’t know why we didn’t take him off when we took Arnautovic off.
Huge win, much needed lift and stupidly optimistic about Wednesday now.
