Arsenal had 8 shots to our 1 and 6 corners to our magnificent zero, and yeah, a pretty **** game quality wise, but where were our creative attacking moves that the opposition blotted out with their display of ultra defensive intensity? Id have loved to have seen 8 moves that we were robbed of the opportunity to have 8 shots by Arsenals resolute defence, but we never did.
We may not have "thrown the game" as some have described it, but we made no meaningful effort to actually try and win it - a one off cup game that over 7,000 went in expectation of seeing some desire in those players selected to try and win the game, take the club into the semi-finals and therefore just 2 games from a final.
