Zabs------Obiang----Kouyate------Arther
---------------------Ayew
----------Hernandez----Arnie
Antonio on the bench after feeling his calf

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: match thread
Given the players available I would like to see us go balls and all in a 4-2-1-3 formation
Adrian
Zab
Cress/ Arthur
Reid
Oggy
Obiang
Kouyate
Ayew
Arnie
Sakho
Hernandez
It won't happen though, so within the confines of a back 3/5 I would go with:
Adrian
Zab
Reid
Oggy
Cress
Arthur
Obiang
Kouyate
Ayew
Arnie
Sakho/ Hernandez (probz prefer Sakho)

I have never in all my life looked at any run of 9 games and thought West Ham would get 25 points.artlin wrote:In previous years you could have looked at that fixture list and put your house on 25 points.
However, 15 points should be doable.
Bournemouth home and away for 6.

What years were they? Don't think there has ever been a time even when in Division 2 where any West Ham fan has ever looked at a run of 9 games and thought we would get 8 wins and draw from them.

I would be ecstatic with a a scrambled goal from a corner and a scrappy 1-0 victory.

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: match thread
Surely we keep the winning formula (forgetting the cup game and the related poor performances from Obiang, Ogbonna and Reid) and swap Rice, Ayew and Hernandez in for
The missing Noble, Lanzini and Antonio...
————————Adrian—————————
—Reid————Ogbonna———Cresswell—-
Zabaleta————————————Masuaku
——————Rice———Obiang——————
————————Ayew——————————
———————-Arnautovic————————-
———————Hernandez————————-
Possibly Kouyate instead of Ayew but I really think Andre is capable of playing the Lanzini role.

Not that long ago, we'd be expecting 31 points from those games.DDHammer wrote:
Our next 9, will need a minimum of 15 from that lot.
Newcastle
Bournemouth
West Brom
Tottenham
Huddersfield
Bournemouth
Crystal Palace
Brighton
Watford
Now, maybe 27, tops.
Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: match thread
Do not care if it is a dour game as long as we get the points.
in the next block of 9 games up we get a min of 20 points out of it.

Adrian
reid ogbonna cresswell
zab obiang kouayte Arthur
arnautovic Hernandez ayew
subs hart Collins rice quinna sakho martinex carroll
shame Cullen is on loan as him, burke and oxford would surely make the bench now.
hopefully next game sees Antonio and noble back
3-0 hammers Hernandez ayew and arnie

Huge game. Will our League form continue or will it be a frustrating Christmas?
I hope we stuff them, but as always, I am fearing a collapse. This season has done my confidence in.

On the way up for a few festive jars before the game with me old man and brother.
Brothers first time to the OS bowl...feedback should be interesting.
COYI! Let's have one with all the crimbo ball balls on!
All together now!... I'm dreaming of a Frank Lampard just like the one...

press them high up the pitch.
Energy energy energy.
and i love the sharp one touch passing Moyes has introduced.
I'll go for a Rafa sacking game of 3 - 0
