i also like idea of Noble and Rice in Midfild and Kouyate in defence to replace Cresswell.

I am hoping Zabaleta can do 2 matches in 3 days !
I agree. Rice deserves to start ahead of Kouyate and Andy must be exhausted. Not a good idea to risk over-playing him - save him for a late charge if needed and keep him fresh for Shrewsbury and the other vital January games. Start with either Ayew or Chicharito playing deeper letting Arnie roam up top.
And someone needs to tell Reid to pass to a West Ham player instead of lumping it or Spurs will kill us.

four at the back...with the option of Rice dropping back in
pack the midfield

Adrian

Zab
Reid
Ogbonna
Masuaku

Rice
Obiang
Noble

Lanzini
Arnie
Hernandez

EDIT: actually forgot about Ayew. Would like to see him play, just not sure how. Unless we go balls and all, and drop Lanzini back into central midfield 3 and play Ayew instead of Rice (or Rice at RB to give Zab a rest)

or play Ayew in the front 3 instead of Hernandez

Plenty of options for the manager from an attacking point of view

On paper that side has balance to it. Something about four at the back makes me have kittens though. I would expect the three at the back to continue.

Hopefully this is the type of game that Reid raises his game for; massively off the pace last night.

2 days after a massive effort, I think he'll rotate the squad, depending upon who's fit. I reckon Moyes go with:

Hart

Zaba
Reid
Collins
Ogbonna
Masuaku / Cresswell

Obiang
Noble
Rice

Ayew

Hernandez

Have we had the usual "great ambassadors for this club" patronising message from the club yet?

Therea no reason why Adrian should need a rest. He's not running around like a mad man on the pitch like the others (well some of them). I wouldn't have Hart anywhere near the first team unless it's a cup game now or Adrian gets a knock.

With injuries we will barely be able to rotate anyone. Moyes will employ same tactics as Chelsea / arsenal etc . But with no Antonio we will miss his strong running and out ball. I think the 48 hours we definitely favour them they are younger and can rotate 4 or 5 from Swansea game. I’d seriously consider a couple of kids just for fresh legs. Presuming Oxford is fit I’d stick him in CM just to run around. Considering situation a point would be a massive bonus, takes us 6 clear Of bottom 2.

Oxford kicked the ground (stamped his foot about coming home?) in training and won't be ready according to Moyes.

I think it's fair to say that the cup game will not be a priority and the kids will be rested for that.

I think we will lose this one, but we will still be out of the bottom 3 which is a bonus. Thank you Moyes.

West Brom was but far the bigger and more important game

Get a point out of this and its a bonus but no one is expecting anything. If we start slow like we did last night they will make us pay.

I do agree, I personally wouldn't play Hart in this one. I just think Moyes will start him. He said in a previous interview that Hart will still play plenty of games.
