Tough one tonight can we go there and get a result absolutely but will need another tremendous performance all round. Any sloppiness they will capatilise straight away. Reid has been awful lately but when on song he is our best CB my guess is he will start. I can see our midfield getting over run especially since they have Wanyama back. Hoping for a decent performance.

The bit about "years ago" is the point.
You just can't do it anymore without penalty. Long gone are the days when players were kicked in the air and got up and got on with it. Now they would need major surgery!

Adrian
Rice - Kouyate - Reid - Ogbonna - Arthur
Noble - Obiang
Lanzini
Carroll - Arnie

If Antonio is fit I'd stick him at RWB & swap Rice in CM instead of Obiang
If Collins is fit then he deserves his place instead of Reid

1-3 to the Cockney Boys. We normally do better than expected at Wembley

What I would like to see tonight is someone like Billy Bonds 'introducing' himself to Harry Kane in the first few minutes of the game. Those things can make a difference.

We have a team of weeds!
He'd be sent off pretty much immediately now

Ginge can do that. Not sure it would bother Kane too much though, he is very much a 'get up and get on with it' type of player. Alli would get wound up by a few digs, as would Dier, but Kane would most likely just go about his business.

0-4 to us.

Wor Andy to score all four, in a kind of David Cross tribute act style.

Can you define 'successful' please?
Didn't want to say 'better team' or 'big club'. Being in the top 6 or 7 clubs for an extended period would be success for us and as we had been on a par with Spurs (see someones graphic earlier) then that would imply successful for Spurs. I know you're implying they have done F all of note, but nor have we since the FA Cup Final.

I did it for the cup game, moved to one of the thousands of empty seats and reported anyone to their anonymous number I didn’t like the look of. Do it.

The all time record between the two clubs is actually very competitive and I don't think it will be any less so tonight either.....................................................................and we are, don't you know, yet to be beaten at the new Wembley. Just a point worth remembering

5-4-1 two disciplined lines Carrol up top for the out ball with Arnie and Lanzini to rush up in support. 70-30 possession. if we score I'll do a dance a draw will do nicely thanks

Not sure how accurate soccerbase is but they have tonight as the 150th game between us two.
Spurs have won 63 we have drawn 36 and we have won 50.

So I would say that neither of us are successful. They are a big team and they are better than us if we are being absolutely honest. But that is not exactly a benchmark they should be proud of right now.

Never has a club attracted more smug, greasy, cowardly little tossers than this lot. Hope we turn them over.

2-1 win :scarfer:

Actually very weird and quite annoying that we really should be on a level with them. Till this season similar stadiums and fan bases. But unfortunately you can’t deny they are a bigger club on history and the last decade although they haven’t actually won anything as a club we’d kill to be in their position. The fact that 10-15 years ago we were on level par makes it all the more annoying.

For a set of fans they really like to make out they don't care about us they really do talk about us alot.

They even have a 100+ page thread all about West Ham on their forum that has now been placed behind membership only wall after it was found out about. It is literally a group of fat balding 50 year old men getting worked up after a game and ranting online acting Mr Big then running away when it comes to it. They read this site all the time as well.

Watch them spin this like a bad spin doctor about how obsessed we are with them. I couldn't care less Spurs are a nothing club.

Beating West Brom was the far more important and bigger game to us.

Kane will no doubt score tonight we will nick a goal but they will win it 2-1

Sadly both Spurs and the Police wanted to limit ticket sales as they only have licence for the full use of wembley for a few games and them making the later stages of the champions league means they would go over their limit and would have to cap fans at champion league games which has a bigger income.
