Admittedly no but Haksabanovic was playing men’s football last season at a standard that I can only assume is similar if not stronger than our league one, and Martinez did quite well at Oxford and was highly thought of, he’s also scored bundles for our u23s including in the cup against league one sides.

With Arnie and Antonio injured, Carroll was carrying a knock last night and Hernandez playing against Tottenham we don’t have many other options.

I also thought Burke and Cullen were being recalled in time for this game but I may be wrong, they’ve been playing well for Bolton recently and both looked a class above at league one level so surrounded by better players they should be up for the job if available.

I'd give Manu one too personally.

Little freshen up before kicking on against three other also-ran, staying up outfits.

I'd play Hernandez. Simply to see if the theory of him only being good when we are on top holds water.

To me he looks like a stroppy, overweight player who has lost his passion for the game. Lets see.

He hasn't lost his passion and he certainly isn't overweight.
Stroppy maybe, but that's not always a bad thing - indifferent is much worse

He's being played out of position by a manager who doesn't understand strikers - never has - doesn't care
Moyes has shored up our defensive play, but even Messi and Neymar would look totally useless the way we set up away to "top 6 teams"

I'd play him up front in a 3-5-2 with Ayew, Sakho or Martinez vs Shrewsbury - resting AC & Arnie

And Oxford, Collins, Creswell and Antonio are all injured
I thought Collins, Cresswell and Antonio all only just missed out for the Spurs game...

Have our injuries been confirmed by the club? I missed it if so...

I still feel the FA cup magic a little bit.
I was 7 when we last won it and in 2006 I convinced myself (and my son) we had done it again.
I want the strongest team possible out there and to treat it with the respect it deseves. The Forrest tie with those kids hung out to dry still makes me sick.
If we are a bit tired for the next bout of Prem fixtures then so be it. Not so long ago the best of the boys would be on less money, less fit and still cracked on the next game. It's no excuse in my book.
Earn your wages you very lucky people!

Don’t agree at all fella. He is pointless and bang average...if we have ambition, journeymen like him nicking a buck for his pension fund are not what we need. A waste of space, lazy worker that would struggle against these.

Looks like you can park at The Charles Darwin pub, SY2 6HN, for free providing you use the pub! Welcomes away fans and a 20 min walk to ground (like walking to the London Stadium!).

Link here for info:

Can’t wait.

A little bit? It is still the best tournament in world football, bar absolutely none.

There is also the possibility that, with their loan spells with Borussia Monchengladbach and Bolton Wanderers having ended, Reece Oxford, Josh Cullen and Reece Burke could travel.

“I’d like to say we won’t make a lot of changes on Sunday, because I try to be consistent, but the bigger problem is the number of players we have available and the fatigue due to the amount of effort they’re putting into the games for us just now. Plus, we’ve got injuries, but if I have my way I’ll put out as strong a team as I possibly can there.

“Joe will play on Sunday, but Joe will play a lot of Premier League games this season as well. I’m sure he’s not overly happy with the current situation, but he’s a top professional and I’m sure he’s had an understudy to him for 90 per cent of his career and I think he’s acting in a really good manner.

‘Joe will play a lot of premier league games this season’, we must be terminating his loan then.

Imagine saying to fans in 50s 60s and 70s how it would go in the future..... Yes no one is interested in the fa Cup. But if you fail to win championship and end up 2, 3or 4 all this super choral music comes on the big wide screen telly's and you play a thing called champions league even if you're not champions and everyone else can go to hell. 'How dare they defend against us!'.
The players get zillions of pounds but don't really get the f a cup anymore. You don't believe me? It's back to the future 2018

I would play a strong team, rest nobody and go for them.

Our biggest problem is in having nobody else to play RB absent Zab. If he plays Cresswell there, I might go shopping for carpet tiles instead.

'Injuries' permitting:

..............................Adrian

.......Zabaleta..........Reid.......Cresswell

...................Obiang.........Rice

......Arnie...............Noble..............Arthur

.................Lanzini.........Hernandez
