Also, it may just be me, but wasnt it good to have ginge back in the team? A true 'trooper' who for me never gives less than 100% and even given his occasional lapses, is close to becoming a West Ham hero if not quite legend.

I still add 4 points on every time I look at the table. 2 for Bournemouth and 2 for Palace. Hopefully I'll have grown out of it by next season.

If there was a player I'd carry from the pitch on my shoulders it'd be Ginge.

Great win today, but can West Ham United please do the following:

1. Put a strong side out for FA Cup Replay. Wins breed confidence and I don’t want to be turned over against Shrewsbury. Look at Arsenal away in the cup, a loss followed by a league loss. In addition, most realistic opportunity to win silverware is in the cups. Doubt I will ever see us win the league!

2. Not believe we are safe. Jumping from 15th to 11th proves we are only one loss away from the lower reaches of the league such is the competitive nature of everyone outside of the top 6. Let’s not take our foot off!!

Please WHUFC, do both of the above and keep moving forward.
