Re: Huddersfield Town v West Ham Utd: match thread
Cullen, Burke & Haksabanovic not involved with the U23's tonight so I guess they will be in contention for a place in the 18.
Martinez (up against Huth), Quina, Samuelsen & Byram all starting tonight against Leicester (0-0 coming up to half time).

Re: Huddersfield Town v West Ham Utd: match thread
The mind games between the clubs is in full swing for this immensely crucial game. Another potential Banana skin.
Win this though and we can start to put more daylight between ourselves and the bottom feeders. A number of fixtures this weekend have got teams around us looking to cut each other’s throats...I hope Moyes can spring a surprise or two in his selection and make it count. He does seem to have an element of that much needed luck on his side so far and that could well be the difference again.
We should beat these - heads and bodies should be stripping fitter after the Tinsel and Turkey displays, so I am good to go with 1-2.

I can see this being a draw.
This place will go into meltdown if we manage to lose it but a battling away point would be good for confidence and keeps us moving towards survival.
We aren't in a position this season to turn our noses up at an away draw against anyone really.

I want a point, minimum.
I expect? I have no idea.

Can anyone clarify the injury info. Find the vagueness and lack of info under Moyes hugely annoying. “A few are out a few might be back a few we aren’t sure about” great that’s really helpful.

We don’t need to know, keep the opposition guessing. It’s better than the whole lineup popping up on Twitter.bubbles500 wrote:Can anyone clarify the injury info. I pulled a bottom feeder when I was a young man down that Cinatras in Croydon :lol:Gerblatz wrote:The mind games between the clubs is in full swing for this immensely crucial game. Another potential Banana skin.

This is a must not lose game. I've taken the day off work. Sorry. But this is not a good omen. We always lose when I take a day off. Good news is I'm retiring for next season.
THAT will be the next level. Pardon?

Really sad state of affairs when we’re over the moon with a point at Huddersfield but I give full credit to them this year. 11 players each week who give 100% and why they might just keep their heads above water

Re: Huddersfield Town v West Ham Utd: match thread
Setting off shortly for the trip up the M1. Unfortunately I’m not expecting anything great today and sadly would take a point. I’m losing a lot of the desire I had to watch us with the current football on display. Whether that is down to Moyes or the hand he’s been forced is a separate debate, however it’s not been an enjoyable entertaining period for me going to games.
Hopefully with Arnie and Lanzini back we’ll have some sparks of quality.

Last time out....
If memory serves, we let them have a lot of pointless possession.
I think I'm right in saying that these are the first opponents in the Moyes' reign where our previous league game against them was a victory.

Bang on.Be happy with a point.Anymore is a huge bonus.A debilitating defeat is probably more likely.Roby wrote:I can see this being a draw.

Whats up with straw man Carroll now ?
Last sighted walking off the pitch at Wembley looking uninjured and now ten days later with no games in between he is unfit again ?
