We can't just sit back and try and counter attack in this one
We need to show a little bit more craft and creativity
Hopefully Hernandez will come in for Kouyate, but I won't hold me breath

Just 2 wins in their last 10 league games (both were at home) but lost five of them and were very lucky not to lose to us too. Burnley beat them late Nov so not sure on your September stat.Korea Hammer wrote: Apart from the top 5, nobody has beaten them since September.
They have only won twice away from home, Newcastle and Stoke.
I agree they are a lot better at grinding out draws than they were pre Christmas, but they are not exactly flying.

Win this and not only is it another valuable three points, but would make Moyeseh more likely to put a stronger side out in the fourth round against either these or Wigan

We didn't sell our ground and then our best player to worry about Bournemouth coming to visit, did we?
Get at them, they can't handle that, as they proved at Dean Court.

We’ve made big steps since that game, and we only lost at theirs because of a very dubious last minute equaliser – we’ll winGeorgee Paris wrote:I think this will be like the Newcastle game.

Not a flippant question, but why not? As someone said, they tend to only play one way....let's just pick them offCrouchend_Hammer wrote:We can't just sit back and try and counter attack in this one

Couldn't agree more - Bournemouth are one of the few non top-6 sides that will attack you when they are away from home, counter-attacking them is the perfect strategy.Loftyhammer wrote: Not a flippant question, but why not? As someone said, they tend to only play one way....let's just pick them off
Its no co-incidence our games against them are almost always high-scoring.

Adrian, Masuaku, Lanzini, Noble, Arnautovic.
I almost don’t care who else plays. Just let those 4 do the business and Adrian worry about the rest.
2-0 West Ham, Arnie x 2

That’s exactly what was said before Newcastle.Nick Sneddon wrote:

Five games against this lot, only in one game did we ever look in control, a 3-1 win at their place courtesy of some Payet magic. Just don't let them play, don't let a side that could easily be a Championship team outplay us, keep the ball, make them run and don't let them over run us. I just worry about their diving, fouling, gamesmanship and time wasting.

Diving and cheating? But doesn’t Saint Howe play football the right way?Jumby wrote:Five games against this lot, only in one game did we ever look in control, a 3-1 win at their place courtesy of some Payet magic. Moyes will try to set us up to be impossible to beat. It will be ugly. He will be happy with an unconvincing 1-0

Callum Wilson not in the squad for Bournemouth tonight. He's nailed on to hand against us on Saturday then...

I will be happy with a 1-0 also. That would be three points and we need three points.Hugh Jargon II wrote:Moyes will try to set us up to be impossible to beat. It will be ugly. He will be happy with an unconvincing 1-0

Don't care if its 1-0 or 10-9 on Saturday we have to win. Palace have Arsenal away, WBA have Everton away, Stoke and Hudds are playing each other, and Newcastle have City away. Win Saturday and we could find ourselves a good 8 points from the bottom three and 6 points off 7th (Burnley have United at home).

I would like to see Rice in the DM role instead of Obiang.
4 up front. Arnie, Noble, Lanzini and Arthur.
The usual 3 CB and 2 Wing Backs.
Might need a GK as well, who knows.
15 - 0 to the mighty hammers.
Arnie to get a double hat trick.
