That is not a bad point, but they are a team we really should be beating and would beat with just a few more additions to the squad

Going by everything we know from past history, it isn't actually possible for this team to play well if Lanzini isn't present. We're left with a midfield that half-heartedly shuffles the ball backwards and doesn't tackle much when he's not around.

Arnautovic is certainly going to earn his corn if that hammy is anything very serious.

Played ok, some nice passing, pretty attacking on the whole, the old fellas ran out of steam towards the end, Begovic made two great saves in the first half, a bit more quality and younger legs at the back and I think we’d have won that. f*** me I was cold and wet though.

Still find a quite amazing how a team with their resources and fan base... Well they seem a tidy comfortable premier league team.

I imagine Moyes would too. But we all know what happens when we try to attack these “lesser” sides. We lack the quality to do it.
Spot on MB especially with our injury situation. Moyes recognises that problem and unless the owners give him what he needs then we will not be able to beat these sides without high risk with our current squad. Just not sure the owners are willing or capable of listening based on past experience.

Good first half today- not making our superiority count was always going to be a risk playing these and so it was. Arnie looked out of salts today as did Masuaku. Better performance from Kouyate and Noble was everywhere.

Very poor to concede the way we did when we have been snuffing out those kind of threats recently. If ever there was a hint to Sullivan about which way this season could still go, this game was it. We don’t have the depth in the squad to sustain crucial injuries like we did today. Invest or we could very easily wither back into the **** zone.

Squad is everything at this stage of the season and once again our clueless owners are playing Russian Roulette with the prospect of relegation. Back the manager or f*** off!

I bore myself with this and I will stop saying it but Masuaku cannot cross the ball to save his life. He's a total waste of space down that left hand side. THe only thing he does is hold the ball up a bit.

I can tell you it's a decent point. I would of course preferred all three but the biggest thing is we didn't lose the game. Why should we have a right to win these sort of games?

This type of comment bores me too because Arthur has directly been involved in a few goals this season due to his delivery. I think the bigger issue here is how few people we get in the box.

As for the game, I will "respect the point". The first 20 I thought we were great; pressing high, some lovely football and really dominant. We needed to score then. Bournemouth weathered the storm, got a foothold and looked dangerous. A point was probably about fair I think although Begovic made what looked like two very good saves.

We're just lacking in the options to do anything different right now. The bench tells you everything you need to know about the squad.

No Antonio, Sakho, Carroll, Ayew, Reid, Fonte compounded today by an injury to our ball-playing plan A; Lanzini.

If we can't strengthen up and add more bodies to the mix when it's so glaringly obvious that we need it then I don't know when we will.

Moyes has got us limping along despite all of this and all credit to him for that.

Just got home....

Good first 20-25 minutes for us, they soaked it up well though and started getting their confidence back.

Second half, they seemed more organised and posed more of a threat.

Great to see our immediate reaction and get a goal back straight away...

Anyone know the bloke in the lower STB who took his shirt off and got thrown out... fkn stewards, the bloke had had a beer but wasn’t harming anyone...

Pissed off at half time, no steak pies in our outlet FFS..

I think every time he had the ball in a threatening area he had two opposing players closing him down.

Meh, truth be told it's probably a decent point as Bournemouth are probably a better team than us, like it or not.

played some really good football first 20mins, should of finished one of those 2 chances really, shame nothing came of it.

Thought after that we weren't particularly great although another spell of it in the 2nd half.

I think Adrian should of saved their goal, he started coming out then changed his mind way to late. Think he would of been first to the ball fairly easily if he committed to it.

Yep, I thought the first 20 was as good football as we've played since we moved there. Really good stuff, shame we couldn't get the goal. After that it went a bit flat but still reasonably entertaining.

Arnie had a strange game, looked like he was walking in quicksand. Everyone more or less did their job though. Good to get a quick equaliser. It's a respectable point, Bournemouth looked decent enough in parts. On to the next one.

Moyes said that the team were feeling the previous 120 min game around the 65th/67th mark so maybe that explains why we went flat. Apparently Cresswell went off after cramping badly and Lanzini has done his hamstring because of excessive workload. Kouyate also hasn't trained all week and couldn't run anymore so we are now down to the bare bones and need reinforcements pretty damn quickly. I doubt we will be able to field a strong side for the Wigan match because the CP game a few days later is a six-pointer.

Another day we win that 3-1. Pleased with the point though especially after going 1-0 down.

120 minutes on Tuesday or not we still look shagged after 60 minutes.

We must be happier with the point considering the rest of the days results.
