Sounds like the owners had an uncomfortable time today, good! Keep giving it to them lads.

Re: Brighton & Hove Albion v West Ham Utd: match thread
After each substitution the team became progressively more unbalanced. At the end we had 11 bodies on the pitch with no structure and with no one one knowing where they were supposed to be, just running round chasing shadows.
This is what happens when your recipe for success is - buy players to put bums on seats in the summer,
with little regard to where they will fit in, sprinkled with DoF punts (allegedly),then loan players to plug the gaps in January, seasoned with a liberal dose of PR.

Byram isnt good enough. He isnt on his own though. Zaba is shot. Antonio needs to go. Same with Hernandez altough his goal was good. Cresswell is playing like hes scared.

We've seen a lot more from these players, for all their faults. I wonder how many of them feel the same way about the club that we currently do.

A total mess. The problem is it's crumbling from the very top thanks to these ****ing owners.
Fans have had enough, the players that we actually have look like they've had enough. We are a massive price for relegation really. We've conceded 12 goals and 12 points this season to Brighton and Newcastle who have only scored 21 and 23 in total themselves.
Absolute **** show, enough is enough. Every week we need to make them feel hated.

I wasn't expecting us to win but that was a dire performance. Almost everyone looked off the pace.
That said, take nothing away from Brighton, they played some nice football

We signed a lower league player non of us had heard of and within three days we send him on to rescue a game! #nextlevel
What have we done to deserve such utter shits as Sullivan, Gold and Brady? Eggert pisses over those three and I daresay if there was a global collapse in thd porn industry and all "ill gotten gains" confiscated - we'd be in a worse mess - our only assets are our players and I doubt we'd get more than £50m for the lot! Relegation is better than limping along with our "begging bowl "out and writing off a season before it has begun.

My boy has just got back.
He said our lot were fantastic. Fans I mean. Loud, Anti Board and yet still supportive of the team.
I was not surprised and very grateful to our travelling fans.

just back from the game. we got completely outplayed second half and they scored a couple of crackers. Things noted from being there:
Our lack of pace is a big problem. Watching noble and zabaleta try and recover from losing possession high up the pitch was painful.
Hernandez makes loads of attempts to run in behind but never gets a ball played or an attempt to play him in.
Cresswell was atrocious today. His decision making was shocking and he looks even slower than last season. He did put a couple of useful balls in but the rest was terrible.
The sooner Arnie and lanzini return the better

It keeps happening because we still have some fans that don't see or react to how **** of a situation we are getting in. Let in 12 goals in 4 games against Newly promoted sides who struggle to score, sell goalscorers to relegation rivals, yet some fans are like 'Yeah well undefeated in 2018 so its all good lol' 'You guys are just overreacting you drama queens' 'We are fine 27 points is sick at this stage of the season' 'We will beat Chelsea lol because we done it once so losing to relegation rivals is great' 'We will do over Watford for sure because we just showed how great we are against Brighton'ashbanki wrote:We signed a lower league player non of us had heard of and within three days we send him on to rescue a game! #nextlevel

That's because while he's making the run the ball's still pinballing off a midfielder's shins, knees and backside.Bernie_Lama wrote:j..........................................

Does the fact that the bottom half is so close mean more points for survival or less?
I only got a cse grade 4 in Maths. I think it means less (37 points) but people are suggesting 42??

He's been playing like that for about 2 years now. The occasional nice cross doesn't make up for the fact he bottles out of every 50-50 and won't put a foot in. Also started doing the thumbs up gesture when he shanks a pass or makes a mistake which annoys me even more. He's basically the LB equivalent of Matt Jarvisdjbubbles wrote:Cresswell is playing like hes scared.

We are a Premier League club and supposed to be the 17th richest football club in the world and we have not got the personnel to play a basic 4-4-2 formation- even with everyone fit!

Just got back. I actually thought we could have been louder as fans but the banners were good. I was in the Brighton end near the Directors box. the Sullivan kids were laughing and joking before kick off and next to Gold.

That is because they are Del boys. That is how they grew up, watching the pennies and it is inherent in their make up. Penny pinch, haggle and barter with everybody, they are not proper businessmen, they don't think like business people and they certainly don't act like them. To them, it is all about screwing the other party to the point they run out of customers. The end is coming for them, I really feel itashbanki wrote:We are a Premier League club and supposed to be the 17th richest football club in the world and we have not got the personnel to play a basic 4-4-2 formation- even with everyone fit!
