West Ham Utd 0-3 Burnley: match thread (10/03/18)Moderator: Gnome West Ham Utd 0-3 Burnley: match thread (10/03/18)Saturday 10 March. One of those 'must wins'.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadWe're having a lot of those lately, guv.
'bout time we win one of 'em... I predict..I have no idea.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadAll about team selection and who wants it more, got another dreadful feeling that Dyche will sense we are there for the taking and really 'have a go at us'. Its going to be a long 90 minutes and would be suprised with anything other than a draw but this is West Ham we are talking about...............so I am going for a comfy 3 nil win

Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadWe will at best get a draw. 0-0. Just cannot see us winning. We are spineless, pathetic, useless and devoid of any ideas.
And as someone else said somewhere how can Swansea be doing so well, hammer us, fighting against relegation (yes actually fighting) yet still be going in the FA cup ? That's not allowed is it ? Not according to SGB and Moyes anyway.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadDo we want to remain in the PL?
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadTIME TO DROP A FEW
There must be some of them who want it such as Antonio arnie ogbonna Adrian byram rice ogbonna cresswell noble Cullen mario Antonio hughill Arnie subs hart zabaleta browne haksagbonovic kouyate Hernandez quinna no idea on the result, if we lose I fear we are down. next level is the championship
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadI'd definitely want Fonte playing in that one given he was our best defender at the start of the season before getting injured and inexplicably c**ted off by David Sullivan.
Oh hold on...
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread
If Cullen has it in him to dig in in midfield then I think I would give him a shot at this one too. My concern over him is, I think he lacks the physicality to make a strong impact in this key area of the pitch, but I do agree Kouyate needs benching, as does Adrian
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread--------------------------------Hart
Zabaleta-------Kouyate---------Ogbonna------ Cresswell --------Byram---------------Noble-----------Rice -------Arnautovic----------Hugill --------Antonio Subs: Adrian; Evra; Mario; Hernandez, Lanzini, Cullen, Trott - three goalkeepers is the way to go
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadA likely defeat.
The players aren't happy, many don't want to be here anymore, we'll be lucky to avoid the drop.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadHughill will at least give Burnley's defence something to think about all afternoon and that will ease the pressure on our defence. He has to start
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadadrian
Zabaleta-------Rice---------Ogbonna------ Cresswell --------Byram---------------Noble----------cullen -------Arnautovic----------Hugill --------Antonio kouyate, evra have to be dropped now give huggy a go at home. cant do any worse than Hernandez yesterday.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread
That is the Gold and Sullivan poison. Noone want to be here anymore. You get the sense, and papertalk seems to back this up, that after witnessing one transfer window, David Moyes also doesn't want to be here anymore. No manager is going to willingly sell an experienced defender after the window has shut not an attacker with a point to prove (Ayew) to a relegation rival but Sullivan does it anyway.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadDon’t know if I’m coming or going.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadwin and we may just stay up lose and we are going down.
we have games to come that we should get points from but this spineless slow useless bunch coupled with a boring defensive manager and a poisonous board will conspire against us and send us down. an important game. lose and we go into the international break in a terrible position with arsenal city leicester Chelsea and man utd to come. possibly a couple of draws 2pts Southampton stoke everton being our only games where we have a chance but would need at least 7 pts. based on yesterday I can see 2pts only so 34 points if we lose to burnley and we will be relegated
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadWe have been up and down all season. Yesterday was V poor, but we have been that bad before (Everton & Brighton away) and bounced back at home the following week. So, I am hopeful that they players will respond positively after a week of being drilled by Moyes, Pearce etc. Also hoping that Ogbonna will have recovered and that Ginge's hamstring will allow him to play. My team:
Adrian Zabletta Rice/Ginge Obgonna Cresswell Noble Kouyate Antonio Lanzini Arnautovic Hernandez

Summed up in one sentence, our demise ![]()
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadCan I just say that I have no idea how this.........................who am I kidding 2:1 Burnley.
Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match threadLet's hope there's no more snow or even frost or our lads won't be able to train all week again.
I'm still struggling to believe that a premier league team doesn't have undersoil heating at their training ground. Adrian Ogbonna Kouyate Cresswell Byram Noble Rice Lanzini Antonio Arnautovic Hughill Hughill to score his first for the club but won't be enough. 3-1 loss I think that everyone has thrown the towel now. It's over.
