Job well done today - but like the Saints game, they were piss poor and any team would have rolled them over today. We took our few chances that came along, defended well (aside from the twat Cresswell) and won comfortably.
Doesn't paper over the cracks for me though at all - at least 6 new players needed to stop what's happened this year happening again next.
Cresswell, who has contributed (assist or goal) to the most goals of a defender in the premier league? One mistake today, and at least that was from him covering.
He’s been good at that left centre back role, especially as he has less midfield help than the right side and covers Masuaku, who often doesn’t know how to defend.

He was awful and I think it probably says more about our recruitment policy that our alternative back up is NOT a left back. He's not even a very good left winger/wing back.
After last weekend’s shambles it wasn’t surprising to read we would find it hard to get a result today, however I didn’t think we would lose against a Leicester side already guaranteed a place in the Premier League for next season. Leicester are a side in decline. The Thai owners will have to spend in the summer to breathe new life into their side.
Moyes had the team up for this game. From the get-go, they were at a poor Leicester side. Arnie was the talisman once again. The transformation of this player from the beginning of the season has to be noted. To all the Moyes detractors on this board, you have to give credit to him for turning Arnie around. The player is clearly enjoying his football and the team as a whole are benefitting from it. At least Joao Mario did today, Arnie’s pull back for Mario top score from was perfect. Apart from Cresswell, who had a ‘mare’ today I thought the team played well today. The set up was good, the intensity pressured Leicester to make mistakes time and time again. Why can’t we apply that kind of pressure in all matches? Mark Nobles goal. For me goal of the season. Straight volley, amazing technique to keep the ball down. His goal of his career I would say. A goal that cemented todays result. What a time to produce it too. I would say we are safe now.
