Good game today. Nice to finish with three great goals, and Obiang and Ginger Pele on the pitch.
I’d love to see Lanzini, Arnie and Mario to continue their development together!
Thanks all.
Good performance, nice gesture by Moyes to get Ginge on for a "take a bow sunshine" moment..Noble giving him the skippers armband too..
Can't believe that Pickford is in the frame for the England job...touch of the Jussi's about the Arnie shot and what was he doing with that attempt from a good but not great shot from Lanzini....
Lucky we met 3 teams at the fag end of the season who looked like their holidays were the first thing on their mind and football the last..
Leicester did they even turn up?
Manchester United only interested on one point
Everton today who were certainly not playing for Big Sam.
7 points there without really breaking a sweat.......

And after all that stress we didn't need any of those 7 points in the end. Funny old game and all that.
An interesting fact is apart from the top 6 only Leicester have scored more goals than us ,the problem lies in leaking goals. Moyes coming in has helped a bit but it needs to be sorted out next season
So, what next? Does Moyes deserve a chance to shape his own team over the summer? Or do we try something new? I’m completely on the fence. I think Moyes could “do an Everton” for us though.

He does deserve the chance but for one reason or another(Sully) he ain't going to get it.

you're best off looking at how moyes' set us up for the vast majority of actually competitive games rather than these end of season kickabouts.
the fact our points return and quality of football has suddenly skyrocketed now we're playing teams on their holidays should tell you something.

It tells me that when we had injury problems and needed every single point we could get to escape relegation, he played safe and seemingly tried not to risk losing those points.

According to todays 'Mail on Sunday' our shortlist has been drawn up. It consists of:-
Umai Emery
Manuel Pelligrini
Marco Silva
and an interesting one: Paolo Fonseca, who has managed Shakhtar Donesk and who is being courted by several Premier League clubs. Don't know much about Fonseca's managerial credentials, but he was a very tasty player, as I recall

One refereeing decision or one Joe Hart flap or one midfielder walking back as the opposition sprint past him, one moment of bad discipline, an elbow or a spit,
Are we one decision away from top half or a couple of incidents away from relegation?
