I'd like to us to keep Rice in for this one, as we can easily switch to a 3/5 at the back if things aren't going to plan.

Fabianski

Fredericks
Ogbonna
Balbuena
Cresswell (If Fit)

Rice
Whilshire
Obiang

Anderson
Arnie
Yarmolenko

Has Obiang been on a passing course over the summer, if not he shouldn’t be near the starting XI

I was surprised Antonio started sunday for the same reason plus lack of control, I thought MP wanted ball players.

I thought it was a good idea to rid the team of midfielders that can’t pass :D

He is more than capable of winning it back and playing it easy to Noble or Wilshere. They are the ones who we should be looking at to play forward.

We've just come off a game where Rice was hooked at half time for being way off the pace and Wilshere made less passes than Liverpool's keeper.....

I'd go along with that. Too early to make wholesale changes just yet. Yarmolenko looks decent enough, Antonio doesn't I'm afraid.

Not disbelieving you mate, but that's a damning statistic...

Took a coaching course one time and a question to one of the prospective candidates was:

'What is the difference between technique and skill..?'

Lucky it wasn't my question, because I thought that they were one and the same.

Technique is being able to dribble, pass, control, head, shoot etc.

Skill is being able to do all of those things under pressure.

I think we are blessed with a lot of the former and only a few of the latter.........

The two games against Bournemouth last season left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope we smash them.
