How is the Liverpool game above the Bournemouth v Everton match?AnthraxDave wrote:MoTD are a ****ing joke.
If you are not one of the "Big 6" they will show 20 seconds of your performance. Then they will dedicate 20 seconds of their "analysis" about you.
Makes my piss boil that we are legally obliged to pay for this crap.

As many have said the result really flattered Arsenal. I think more importantly we looked like the players are starting to get Pellegrini’s philosophy, and Anderson looks to be settling in. He was brilliant today.
Sanchez was good, but Wilshere was underwhelming.I thought Fredericks, Balbuena and Masuaku did well defensively, but Diop looked like a fish out of water. Snodgrass blew hot and cold, he and Antonio gave the ball away far too easily.
We created lots of chances, and Antonio, Arnautovic, Perez, and Snodgrass should have scored. Chicharito and Yarmolenko could have scored if they were a bit sharper. If we had any luck at all we would have won or at least shared the points.
We don’t have any points to show for it, but it was a big step in the right direction.

But Adrian shouldn't have been dropped in the first place, he will soon be back as he is the best we have had in a long time, the tragedy is the dropping of our form keeper to begin with.Het-Field wrote: No reason to drop Fabianski.

No he isn’t and you say this after every loss. He has performed well in every match, hasn’t been at fault for anything and is a better goalkeeper than Adrian. Ridiculous to want him dropped.Vienna wrote: Adrian is a better keeper no doubt.

He isn’t better than Fabianski...if he is to you then fair enough. He won’t get back in ahead of Fabianski at the moment and that’s the right deicision. I don’t think Adrian is bad and having him as the competition is decent enough. There is no reason to want Fabianski dropped though.

Let's wait and see and I'm happy that Adrian also believes he will be back as number 1, 3 seasons in a row, when will we ever learn, he will be back or £10 to BMF.

That was a piss poor performance by Arsenal and yet they beat us 3-1 .... don't kid yourselves we won't face a worse defence or more insipid midfield than that many times this season .... all those saying we played well? why? ... we allowed them 60% of the ball, we allowed them 10 shots on target, we managed just 75% pass completion ... that means we gave the ball away 1 in 4 touches ... that's a disgrace ...
Play like this every week at we'll be lucky to get 30 points ... if we can't even do the basics we're ****ed ....

So £10 to the BMF who plays more league matches? I’m taking Fabianski and you Adrian? Or are you asking for Adrian just to come back in at all?Vienna wrote:Let's wait and see and I'm happy that Adrian also believes he will be back as number 3 seasons in a row, when will we ever learn, he will be back or £10 to BMF.

How many of the remaining matches in a row does he have to play in to be considered finishing as our number 1? I’m happy for the bet, but details unclear.Vienna wrote:£10 he reclaims and finishes the season as our no 1.

Not that I expected anywhere near to CL, but 10-14th !!!!ballantine wrote:Much better today. At least we looked like we had an idea of what we want to do. Still think we'll turn a slow start into a comfortable 10th-14th finish. The real test will be the next summer transfer window - whether the Dave's will continue to back Pellegrini's transition of the team once they've realized they've done enough to keep their investment safe for a few more years.
In the inimitable words of one John McEnroe....you can't be serious...
so about the same as last year, with 100M spend ?????

Nobody was undroppable from last year, apart from Arnie.Vienna wrote: But Adrian shouldn't have been dropped in the first place, he will soon be back as he is the best we have had in a long time, the tragedy is the dropping of our form keeper to begin with.
