The biggest problems I think Man U have, and it's well represented here, are a sense of entitlement, little respect for opposition, and a lack of humility. Yes, with the money spent and size of the club they should beat smaller clubs most of the time. But believing that they have a right to win is a mistake. It makes them complacent and the opposition super motived. TIme for a very large slice of humble pie.Up the Junction wrote:The opposition view: Manchester United

Some of those Man United opposition views are actually decent, most of them are as you expect. Always a fun read, thanks UTJ.

To be fair, Man Utd is arguably the biggest football team in the world. A certain level of entitlement from their fans is not completely out of order. I’d expect better than tenth in the leauge and out of a cup vs Derby.

Expectation rather than entitlement is fair, in my opinion. I think it's fair enough for them to expect the club to be doing better.wildkard wrote:To be fair, Man Utd is arguably the biggest football team in the world. "It's lucky that we only conceded three, in the first 10 minutes it looked like we gonna be like down to 4+, thank God West Ham is West Ham and got scared till second half to actually hurt us. I do hope JM leaves and someone new comes or gets appointed as manager among staff before we play Juve."

This bloke had a point. We were happy to sit back and play counter once we got ahead. Who knows what might have happened had we attacked the whole game? Man Utd clearly didn't want it. Could've been a real thrashing. Pellegrini out etc.

Fair play to the manc fans, their comments were the most balanced I've read from the opposition view. Chelsea's were totally different. Love the comment about enjoying our football

There’s probably a large difference between the forumming Mancs and the Essex Mancs on Twitter. Some fair comments this well on the opposition view. The twitter and YouTube meltdown on the other hand.goa127 wrote:Fair play to the manc fans, their comments were the most balanced I've read from the opposition view. Chelsea's were totally different. Shouldn’t it read “from the South” on the front page.Up the Junction wrote:The opposition view: Manchester United

Team has been fantastic last couple of games. In my opinion Rodwell being out of the side has been a massive boon, as has the return of Rice.Cuenca 'ammer wrote:have we heard from David Moyes er, Ironing Board lately ???
It was the perfect time to play Man Utd and, as I previously predicted, we got a great result.

I thought we were a joy to watch on Saturday, some wonderful pass and move football, bags of skill, application, great technique all over the park. Positive from the off, a mini wobble but enough character to get the job finished.
The West Ham way right there.
We were the nuts.

Ha ha - meant to type Wilshire! On another note it was pleasing that the team ensured Mourinho took my, I mean Moyes’, record for worst start to a Man utd season since 1989.Cuenca 'ammer wrote:
