Indeed, this lot are good at home.
And we owe them for scoring six goals against us last season.
Travelling up on Friday arvo and got a cheap b&b by the pier, looking forward to this. Hopefully the weather will hold out unlike last season and we can bring some points back from the South Coast.
As long as we don't go all Billy big bollox after beating ManU I can see us getting at least a point from this, but I'm expecting a tough game, with one goal in it either way.
Funny, I feel the same as so many other posters on here. Despite beating Everton, shutting Chelsea out and then turning over Man Utd... I do not think this one will be easy for us.
Same XI... can't see a reason or need to change it.
I think we are starting to look really solid at the back now and they looked fairly toothless against Spurs at home (until Knockaert was given the freedom of the pitch) so it is only a set piece or loss of concentration that would see them trouble us.
I think it could be a long frustrating one at the other end though and we may need a bit of luck to get a breakthrough. They will be well drilled and they will set up with two banks of four and also have a holding midfielder in between them. Their keeper is looking very decent despite their results too.
Could be a game for Anderson to really shine because I don't think much of Montoya at right back for Brighton. Anderson and Masuaku will tie him in knots if they can isolate him.
0-2 West Ham seems a bold shout but confidence must be high and if we can get one, we will get two.
Sneaky feeling it could be a frustrating 0-0 too though.
Banana skin. Would be very very West Ham to outplay Man U one week and blow out 3-0 to Brighton the week after. This will truly be a measure of how far we have come.
A win takes us 5 points off the Champions League going into the weekend.
Quite remarkable given the start we had, If we can pick up 4 or 5 points in October, then that November to February list of fixtures is our chance at glory
Yes, I noticed the ball has appeared too. I think Brighton are a very difficult team to beat, they are very well coached by a talented manager. Like the win but draw would be Ok
Chris Hughton is a very able manager who has Brighton punching above their weight. We will need to play as well as we did against Red Scum United to get all three points.
It's a bigger statement of intent winning this game than Man United. Can we follow up what some believe is a one off performance with sustained results. Pretty much back to the drawing board if we get whacked 3-0. I'd be mightily impressed if we win here, they already look like needing a win to calm some nerves.
