I didn't actually think Antonio did that much after coming on. Looks, if anything, he may have lost a yard of pacekitthehammer wrote:A bit surprised nobody has mentioned Antonio,. He did more in 20 minutes than anderson did the whole match

Started the game very well last night and Mkhitaryan was struggling to contain Chilwell. Maddison was seeing way too much of the ball for Emery's liking and freeing up the likes of Ndidi and Maguire to move higher up the pitch.
Emery then changed it at half time and put Iwobi in front of Chilwell, moving Mkhitaryan into midfield and smothering Leicester in the middle of the park and it worked a treat. Apart from Ndidi's header they created nothing of note the second half.
Long story short, stick someone on Maddison and they will struggle to create a lot, as neither Vardy or Iheancacho are creators per se. Sounds very familiar...

Leicester always strike me as a team that look far more dangerous away from home than they do at Filbert Street.
Got an over reliance i feel on the counter attack and pace of Vardy.

Real shame about Yarmolenko. However, him coming off showed that Hernandez & Arnautovic link up together really well.
I’d push Marko to the wing and start Hernandez. I think he scores that late one on one. If it’s going to happen for him, now is the time.
Obiang for Snodgrass if possible too.
Not too much wrong with the rest of the team.

Maguire is a beast for them from set pieces. We can't be giving them cheap free kicks and corners and we will need Balbuena to be well up for a battle against him.
If we can frustrate them in the first half or better yet, go one up, they will crumble. No Wes Morgan either as he is still suspended.
Looking at it, I think that Hernandez and Arnautovic with Anderson in behind them would give their back three an absolutely torrid time.

I hope you're right, sutts, but didn't he get 2 yellows which means only a 1 match ban?sutts07 wrote: If we can frustrate them in the first half or better yet, go one up, they will crumble. No Wes Morgan either as he is still suspended.

Yep, but it was his second red of the season already so the suspension was two games.Patito wrote:

I would rather Morgan plays. He’s off the pace and worse than Evans.

Fair point... hence his collection of red and yellow cards.
That said, Leicester fans really do not rate Evans one bit. Either way, they are there to be got at defensively.

Vardy went off last night after they'd used all their subs - was he injured or just need an eyelash??

Would anyone throw Diangana in for this one?
I'd like to see him play. He'd be up against one of the in form full backs both defensively and offensively in the league in Ben Chilwell, who I think is a very good player.

Some people might, I personally wouldn't...
best to make appearances at home with a favourable crowd, we need points and goals.
Snodders for me if Obiang is fit. Move him out to the wing for Yarmo. Cameo for Grady depending if we are chasing the game...

I'd say that both Obiang and Hernandez are in front of him for a start if fit.Briggsy wrote:Would anyone throw Diangana in for this one?
