actually can see Eriksen AND Ali starting then coming off after maybe 60 minutes...they need time on the field (from their perspective) - where's Wanyama ? Llorente up top but not on the bench tonight ??

Winks gets to start - must say I have been very impressed when he has played and I thought he looked very good for England against Spain considering their midfield and ours...

Son too maybe, he could have turned the game around a bit tonight I thought.....I know they haven't been impressed since he came back from playing for Korea.

Danny Rose probably and Aurier at FB. But they must be light at CB Shirley ?

Vorm must be hurt because Gazzaniga was on the bench......(had to google him to be honest...)

When I suggested Spurs would put out a reserve team to a mate, he said more likely to be full strength as Poch wants to win something.

They are there for the taking though.

We win on pens. Adrian to take the winning spot kick :scarfer:

ali and Eriksson appeared for them last night. will they get another outing against us along with winks.
whoever they put out it will be a better team than us. if anyone thinks they will put out a load of kids they are in for a surprise.

not sure where we are with obiang or arnie . I assume noble is suspended for this one ?

this is a good chance for us to progress but the squad is now so thin.

maybe a team like this could do the trick

adrian

fredericks diop balbuena cresswell
snoddy rice obiang
antonio arnie masuaka

subs fab zab ogbonna anderson makasi coventry hernandez

arnie off at half time and hernandez on

would keep the CBs the same as they have been good and we need a strong centre with fredericks coming in.
we have to start well and crowd be up for it. I so want to do them after they got lucky last time .

1-0 hammers arnie (who else )

Going to be a very tough game for Spurs this one, I have no idea what Pochettino will do. As much as he has a reputation for bringing through youth he is very cautious about giving young players a chance for the sake of it.

Only youth players who I think might play are Kyle Walker-Peters and midfielder Oliver Skipp but maybe he'll surprise me.

Nkoudou seems to be completely unloved so I don’t think he'll play from the start if it all. I don’t know if Rose is fit.

It may well be something like this.

Gazzaniga
Aurier
Walker-Peters
Foyth
Dier

Wanyama
Winks

Son
Alli
Moura

Llorente

I agree I think he will be cautious with Alli and Eriksen, I doubt both will start.

Let's smash these slags. We owe them would love a 4-0 win but a 1-0 will do

Any sign of Carroll returning to the bench ?

Spuds in an awkward spot.

Best chance of a trophy is League Cup but this trophy is low on their list of priorities.

They wont win Premier League

Unlikely to progress in Champions League.

Is Europa League a major distraction but if they finish bottom of Champions League Group then they are out of all European competition by end of 2018, a squad full of World Cup semi finalists out of Europe after 6 matches.

When Poch juggles his squad for match at West Ham will he be giving an envious glance at Real Madrid and wondering what sort of backing he would get there in terms of finance?

With our injury list he may think we are there for the taking but how many of his big hitters does he play.

Surprised if he plays Kane. Will he risk Erikson and Ali together, both returning from injury? Dembele cannot play 48 hours later. Winks who should start every match will start.

Just looking forward to West Ham helping to contribute to a dreadful season where it all goes wrong for them.

If we were at full strength I'd agree mate, sadly we are not so I don't think it will be a great game at all.

Has the feel of a 0-0 with some late drama. Hope I'm wrong, would be lovely to see us take the lead early on as that will raise the tempo all round and make it a decent night.

I'd also be surprised to see you start Moura, Walker was very physical with him on Monday night and the turn around might be too much for him. Huge risk of a calf or thigh strain if he tries to play at full tilt.

Guess the question is the same for you as it is us... who else is there left to play...?!

Our injury list is appaling. Given that, it'll be our second string vs their second string.

Another 0-1, I fear.

Are you Paddy O'Hammer in disguise?

Be surprised if any regulars are rested. Thin squad but not Allardyce days thin.

Is Noble banned for this one, or is the ban just for Premier League games?

Not sure who we can play in a midfield 3 for this one. We already have a centre back & a right winger playing in the centre. Adrian to join them in a 3?

Hopefully they'll either be knackered from playing Monday or still confused from the gridiron lines on their pitch.

Would like to see a full strength team for this but I'm expecting a few changes, especially in defence.

Adrian, Fredericks, Ogbonna, Diop, Cresswell, Rice, Obiang, Snodgrass, Antonio, Anderson, Arnautovic.

I wouldn't play Arnie...

he "might" have a virus, but that knee of his ain't getting much better......we would more than likely won on Saturday with him in the squad..

I think he needs a rest..Antonio or Chicharito up top..if little pea, then Mike on the wing.....

Diagana plays and rest Anderson...have whoever isn't paying on the bench to be a game changer if we need one, or to shut up shop if necessary.

Is it 5 or 7 subs ?

Judging by the u23 side we could see a few youngsters tomorrow night

Oxford, Makasi, Powell, Coventry, Diangana - not in the u23 squad

Also no Kemp or Holland but I think those two are still building up training since injury.

A 2nd string Spurs side is still full of internationals

Not confident but hope we give em hell either way!

Burton and Bournemouth through tonight. If we can scrape through the draw opens up.

Although I'm not confident one bit.

Got to expect Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal to go through - the two leg semi’s massively favours those sides imo

Fingers crossed though
