Guess that spilled over to some verbal at the end.
Laughable when you think how many times they threw themselves to the floor and the leisurely pace their keeper played at in the first half.

He had an issue with the ref giving a foul against him on Carroll in injury time.Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote:Why did Tomkins get booked after the game?

You cant help but despise them, the lack of any real insight is telling.Up the Junction wrote:The opposition view: Crystal Palace

Also, funny, but not a word about Zaha who show ponied his way out of any effective contribution in his attempt at a world record of pointless step overs.

It's one of football's small pleasures watching a keeper who spent most of a first half minutes kicking his studs against the post to clear away imaginary mud suddenly sprinting about the gaff all sweaty and frantic.sutts07 wrote: Laughable when you think how many times they threw themselves to the floor and the leisurely pace their keeper played at in the first half.

I'm never totally convinced about anything until we have managed to come back from losing situations to gain victory..........especially when being down at half time. It shows a character that we need to have and come through. It builds another brick into confidence.
That was achieved on Saturday ....

Anybody able to scan the above? P'raps from the digital version of the programme?
Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
I thought it was shocking the time wasting their keeper was doing in the first half - but referees never do anything.
Also couldn't believe 'victim' Zaha's fouls on Zabaletta in injury time. Always playing the victim.

Credit to the ref, as we were taking out time over things in the closing minutes and the Palace lads were getting on his back, he simply pointed to the Palace keeper and shrugged his shoulders as if to say, you can't have it both ways.FAH_1973 wrote:I thought it was shocking the time wasting their keeper was doing in the first half - but referees never do anything.

A great result, against a Palace side who, when looked at player for player on paper, should be a strong team.
Anderson is firmly settling into the Premier League, tracking back, getting goals etc. There are still some parts of his game which can be frustrating at times, but he is looking like a cracking buy.
I thought Carroll did well when he came on. Didn't actually do much on the ball, but caused a nuisance of himself.
It's difficult to see how we felt we didn't need Snodgrass for the whole of last season. He's already proved his worth this season in my opinion, and whilst perhaps not a guaranteed starter, definitely adds something to our set pieces. The best left foot we have (perhaps after Yarma).
