Think you are talking about further away from the stadium which would have been after the flashpoint RS is talking about.

Their fans were being walked all the way along Loop Road and many of ours were making their usual way home via Carpenters Road. The roads cross over each other so it is inevitable that trouble was going to occur there.

Earlier along Loop Road, they were throwing coins and spitting down onto our fans from the raised side of the road without realising the tables would be turned a few hundred yards further down the road they had to walk down toward Carpenters Road and soon ended up below our fans who threw plastic bottles, coins and one even threw horse sh**t at them (does it get more scummy and disgusting than that?).

The two sets of fans eventually meet face to face at the Carpenters Road cross section. The full contingent of Birmingham away fans, and a steady stream of our fans with little more than a handful of police and security staff to try and keep them apart. All different ages, some more than up for it but many just trying to get home.

According to the Met there were three arrests, all Birmingham fans. Two for drugs and one for common assault - which wasn't believed to be in connection to the horse sh*t throwing.

We walked back to the pub under the Brum fans, did see a few missiles going up and down, the Police seemed quick to react. There was a coach load of Brum fans in Bow before the match trying to get into a pub but I don't believe it got rowdy, group of Brum fans in the pub about an hour after the game but they were well behaved, that's all we seen all day. To be honest every club has low life which appear now and again, seems this will never go away.
