I wanna see Arnie score then get Mustafi's grill and make him cry and like Sol Cambell, leave the OS at half time (well Cambell didn't leave the OS but you know what I mean)...

Draw would be good. Anything other than a 'there you go diff between top 6 and the rest what can you do' bog ordinary thumping.

Probably something to do with our abysmal record against them. :eh:

We have lost to Arsenal 63 times. There are only two clubs we have worst records against and that's Everton (67) and Liverpool (71).

FA cup QF 1975 , FA cup final 1980, last team to beat them at Highbury, first team to beat them at The Emirates, other than that we have been mostly crap against them. Headbanger

I think in the past, we have largely had mangers and players too, who did not have the self belief we could ever beat them and that played into Wenger's hands. In other words, we beat ourselves

Yeah but they never had Moore, Peters and Hurst, so swings and roundabouts.

bloody hell you're going back.......

you must be as old as me (almost)...

:D

they got Overmars when he was about 24, Henry when he was 22, Robin Van Persie when he was 21, Patrick Viera when he was 20 etc. etc. etc. etc.

we had Moore Hurst and Peters and Peters went in his prime. and as usual we never really pushed on when they were at the club, hence the reason Peters left.

as much as I'd like to, you cannot compare us over the past 20+ years to what they have done in terms of bringing in a brilliant manager and spending on top quality players over that time.

they played in the European Cup, won the league a few times, went undefeated one year, won the FA Cup a few times, spent about 20 years in the top four while we slipped into pretty much obscurity.

oh and I forgot - moved into an actual football stadium.

jealous, moi ? never.

Brooking, Devo and Bonds weren't too shabby against those c**** back in 1980 either.

We've had our fair share of equally excellent players in the past as Arsenal, albeit not as frequent.

Di Canio, both Lampards, Carrick, Rio also spring immediately to mind.

Can we invite Pards and Whinger to reenact their famous touchline spat when Marlon scored?

Brooking Bonds and Devo was great West Ham players.

those players I listed are/were World Class.

sadly we have NEVER invested in the long term interests of the club that the faithful supporters we have, deserved.

I can't believe how many people turned up week in week out to see some (I said "some") of the shyte that has been served up.

honestly comparing us to Arsenal over the past 25 years or so is silly.

FA Cup: 1997–98, 2001–02, 2002–03, 2004–05, 2013–14, 2014–15, 2016–17
PL: 1997–98, 2001–02, 2003–04
Community Shield: 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2014, 2015, 2017

Also got to the final of the CL. They lost to Barcelona.
