They missed at 6-6 but Yossi's attempted chip (which could have won it for us) was easily saved ... Repka - at 7-8 - saw his first penalty missed ... before he missed the retake too ...

I consider this match a 1-1 draw, therefore we had an unbeaten pre-season. That will do for me

Got in a lil while ago from the game.

Dissapointed in Yossi's debut at UP. In the game for about 4 or 5 spells an tried a cheeky flick straight down the middle at the keeper which he caught comfortably. Goes down too easily and I wouldnt be surprised if the ruffhouse tactics of Blackburn injure him in the first game, hopefully he wont though.

Marlon did pretty well I reckon, caused panic in their defences, Zamora's work rate is very good but not many clear cut chances came his way.

Dailly is our Makelele and he seemed to be winning a lot of balls and was pretty focused throughout the match imo. Gabbidon and Collins continue to impress me.

Good to see Alan Pardew instructing and shouting to get the team organised and on the ball. If we field a strong team week in week out, we will do wel in the Premiership.

I thought Konchesky and Dailly were excellent today, Collins looked good aswell when he came on.

yea Konchesky had a lot of the play and Pardew was feeding him a lot of instructions. We are strong on the left side with him and Ethers.
